They leave the rollercoaster and walk back towards the carousel with a short stop to get some pizza. "Nobody even looked at us for more than a second", Rebecca grins and bites into her pizza. "And I'm extremely happy about that", Bucky answers and chuckles slightly. "I would've never thought it possible." "Me neither", his sister says and they sit down on a bench across from the carousel.

Their mothers arrive a few minutes later and seem just as delighted as their children. "Did you have a good time?", Sarah asks and sits down next to them. "Totally", Steve nods and smiles. "Also exhausting", Bucky grins and leans onto him lightly. "I'm not your pillow, Buck", the blond chuckles and the women laugh kindly at the sight. "Hush, you are", Hydra's prince mumbles and chuckles silently.

They eat the rest of their pizzas and walk back to the car. Bucky searches through his pocket and looks at Steve nervously. "Is everything okay?", the blond asks, slightly worried by Bucky's expression. "I lost it", the brunet states and they both stop next to the car. "Lost what?", Steve answers and clasps the other's shoulders gently. "The calmative I packed for our way back. It's not in my pockets." "Are you sure, that you packed it?"

"Of course, I am sure. I don't enter a fucking car without it, Steve!", Bucky yells. Luckily there are no other people around at the moment. "Why don't you keep them in the car, Buck?", Steve asks, unphased by the brunet's outburst. He understands why the situation upsets Bucky. "I never...know which one we're gonna take", he answers and starts shivering nervously. "Hey, hey... Calm down", Steve mumbles and hugs him.

"I can't. It takes too long to get home", Bucky replies before Steve is carefully pulled away by Hydra's queen. "No", he mumbles and reaches out for Steve, but his mother carefully pushes his hands down. "James, get into the car, please", she says calmly and Bucky looks at her. "But-" "Just sit down, okay? We won't drive right away." He nods slowly and climbs into the backseat, Steve following right behind him.

Bucky tries to breathe calmly, but Steve can hear his breath hitching and gently wraps his arms around the brunet. "I know that I can't make this better", he whispers and strokes over Bucky's back, "But I'll be right here the whole time... Exactly like this, too, if you want that." The troubled prince nods slightly and stays in the embrace thankfully. He hears his mother talking to the driver and closes his eyes.

"Bucky", Rebecca says silently and he glances up at her curiously. "Hm?", he hums. "It's not as strong as yours, but you could try these", she offers and holds out a small package. "Sleeping pills?", Steve asks warily and takes the package as Bucky doesn't bother to move. "Very light ones, don't worry", Rebecca answers and smiles a bit. "Better than nothing", James sighs and sits up again. He looks at the leaflet for a second and takes two of the small pills.

Their mothers finally enter the car and the driver starts the engine. Meanwhile, the boys cuddle up to eachother again. "We're going to stop two times, James", Winifred says and looks back at her son. "Becs gave me those...", he answers silently and gestures to the package. "At least something", his mother sighs and looks at Rebecca thankfully. As soon as they start driving Steve gets an idea.

"Do you still like being read to?", he asks silently. "Mhm", Bucky nods and grins slightly. "What are you thinking of?" "Getting you focused on a story", Steve answers and takes out his phone and headphones. Rebecca leans over, she holds her earphones and a small item that can connect two pairs of headphones over one headphone jack. "Thanks", Steve smiles.
He connects their headphones and both boys put them in. Steve searches up an audio book of The Little Prince and downloads it right away. Once it finished loading he starts it and they lean back. The reader's voice is calm, soothing. "Thank you", Bucky mumbles and Steve just kisses his temple. Rebecca watches them in awe. She's glad, that Bucky seems so fond of Steve's presence.
