The last ten days of Hunter's tour were winding down and he had his closing show in Nashville. It was a crazy busy week as my music video and song were being released tomorrow, but tonight we were celebrating Hunter's homecoming concert. "Jenna you look amazing. Hunter is a lucky man," Steph winked as she straightened her hair, "are his parents coming?"

"Yes, they're meeting us at the venue." Even though it was Thursday I figured the kids would want to be home with their dad tomorrow so I decided to bring them along tonight. "You sure this okay?" I looked in the mirror at my blue jeans, tall boots and grey Henley top.

"You look great, and I think we gotta get your kids ready." I nodded and tackled getting each child ready as they ate dinner.

We arrived at the venue and were ushered backstage with his parents to a big dressing room. "He's on his way." The lady with the headset closed the door as she exited the room. The kids were excited, rejoicing with hugs as Hunter opened the door. I let him make his way through the kids before hugging and kissing him.

"I missed you," I whispered between kisses, "so good to see you."

He pulled away as I heard Sutton, "Guys stop."

I laughed. Somewhere between turning nine and now, Sutton had this dislike for PDA between her dad and I. "I can't help that I love your dad." I playfully hip bumped her and she laughed, rolling her eyes.

"I missed you guys too. Thank you all for coming." He hugged his parents and Stephanie.  He gave us a rundown of the show and we get escorted to our seats to enjoy the concert.
Part way through, he stopped to catch his breath and talk to the crowd, "I want to take a moment to thank you all for being here. On top of being the best crowd I've seen these past eight weeks, there are some extra special guests watching tonight. My gorgeous wife Jenna, our children, Sutton, Easton and Beckett, my parents and a dear friend of our family. These are the people that make being here possible. I couldn't just up and go on tour if it wasn't for their support." The audience cheered, "I know y'all know this one, sing along for me." He sat at the piano bench and starting playing the keys to Wanted as the fans went wild. Sutton sang along, bringing tears to my eyes and Lynette put a hand on my on my shoulder.

"I think she found her calling." I looked over, and nodded.

"Yeah, the trick will be making her wait for nine more years." I laughed and watched the expression on Hunter's face as the fans sang the whole second chorus. The concert wrapped up with a double encore of This Girl and I Want Crazy before secuirty gathered us from the box and back to the dressing room.

"Daddy that was awesome," Sutton hugged Hunter despite the sweat, "all those people sang your song."

"She sang the entire thing," Stephanie said, "she's amazing." Hunter smiled and hugged Sutton.

"She is, you all are. I meant what I said, I wouldn't be where I am now if it weren't for all of you." We headed home, my hands interlaced with Hunter's the whole way, happy to have him home.

We got the kids settled down for the night, and caught up in bed. "I'm happy you're home." I smiled, massaging his shoulders as he sat in front of me.

"I'm happy to be home, I saw Alexis' email," he exhaled and stretched his neck side to side, "you're gonna be busy."

"I know right," I smiled and kissed his cheek, "the kids have three and a half weeks of school til Christmas break. My single hits radios tomorrow." Hunter turned to face me, smiling.

"I'm so proud of you," he kissed my lips softly, "I don't want to be the bearer of stressful news..." he pursed his lips together and held my hands, "but I was asked to do a writers circle at the Bluebird, it's for eight Thursdays starting in January."

"That's not stressful," I kissed him, "We always figure it out." We talked a little more about the Pixar movie and the busyness expected during release week. "Enough business talk," I ran my hands up his shirt, "remind me what I missed while you were away." I whispered as my hands slipped past the waistband of his boxers, he bit his lip and kissed me. He melted once I had him in my hand; kissing me harder, his hands exploring my body, sending shivers up my spine. We entangled ourselves in each other, reaching climaxes simultaneously.

"How am I supposed to go on tour for two and a half months...." my voice drifted off as I laid my head on Hunter's chest.

"I thought we were done talking business," he raked his hands through my hair, "you have nothing to worry about Jen."

I lifted up my chin to kiss his cheek. "You're right. Tomorrow's a new day. And the kids aren't going to school. I love you Hunter, I'm so happy you're home."

"It's good to be back." He kissed me before we turned out the lights.
