~*~ Your POV ~*~

We head into a place called CC Jitters, my arm still linked through his. We chatted and had some good laughs on the way over, but an opportunity to remove my arm never presented itself until now. I let go of Barry's arm as he moved to open the door for me. He was a gentleman.

"Thanks, Hero," I say, stepping into the trendy coffee lounge. The large windows let in the almost mid day sun making the whole place bright and shiny. As we step in a couple at a table start to wave to us. Barry waves back. It must be Cisco and Caitlin.

"Barry, my man!" The one I assume is Cisco says. His dark locks hang to his shoulders and he is clearly of Latino decent. His eyes twinkle with excitement and maybe a bit of mischievousness as he turns to me. "So this is the new girl in town." He offers his hand. "Cisco Ramone, at your service."

Barry gives him a look that is a cross between amusement and exasperation.

"Hi Cisco, I'm (Y/N. Pleasure to meet you." I take his hand and give it a firm shake.

"No, no, the pleasure is all mine."

"Cisco." Barry groans.

"What? It is. She's cute man. You told me about the comic, but you never said she was cute!"

I felt my cheeks flush slightly at the compliment. It has been a while since I received, or was even open to compliments like that.

"I see my comic is already famous."

"Oh man, it is. A Spider-man number one...AND signed by Stan Lee. Seriously, you have to show it to me sometime." Cisco gets excited over the thought of seeing the comic.

I laugh. "Of course. I'd be happy to show it to you." I turn to the woman sitting with Cisco. He long brunette hair falls in soft curls. Her light brown eyes are warm, and she smiles easily. "Sorry, I don't mean to be rude. I'm (Y/N)."

"Caitlin. Caitlin Snow," she says as she takes my hand. "And no apology necessary. Cisco is hard to stop once you get him going."

Cisco gives her a playful glare.

"Alight you two," Barry says with a snicker. He pulls out a chair for me. "Take a seat. I'll grab some drinks. Two flashes for you guys," he motions to Cisco and Caitlin. "What would you like, (Y/N)

"I'll have a chai tea latte please." I move to take out my wallet, but Barry waves his hand.

"It's on me. You're the new girl so we're going to treat you to some Central City hospitality." Barry leaves to get the coffee and Cisco uses that moment to pounce. He rapid fires questions at me about comics, games, movies, anything he can think of while Caitlin sits back and smiles finding this whole thing amusing.

Barry returns with the drinks a short while later interrupting whatever 'test' Cisco was giving me.

"Barry," he says as his friend sits down and passes out the beverages, his face and his tone become deadly serious. "We're keeping her."

Caitlin, Barry, and I all laugh in unison at Cisco's statement.

"Cisco, I'm sorry, she's a person. You can't exactly own her."

"Well, not anymore," Cisco replied.

"Hey guys," we are interrupted by a beautiful mocha skined woman.

"Iris," Barry says, his smile the biggest I've seen, and suddenly I understood I had no chance in hell with Barry. Good to know. I can toss whatever I felt aside, which suits me just fine. Another person approaches us. This one I recognize, the pretty boy detective, Eddie.
