Chapter 29

Ink's POV:

Our kiss... it felt like forever. We didn't really have to breath. I mean, we're skeletons after all.

I felt the shackles on my wrists and legs unravel, basically freeing me. The mouth on mine disappeared and I opened my eyes. The realm of Error was empty except for me. At first, I wondered if it was just a dream, until I saw a glitch spot closing.

I smiled. Error could be such a scaredy-cat. But at least he's my scaredy-cat now.

My brain finally started to work, and I made a portal with my paintbrush. It was time to check on Y/N. I jumped through the portal to find...

Y/N telling Classic Sans something and he was blushing madly, UF Sans was telling a pun to UF Frisk, UF Papyrus was sleeping on the couch with UF Chara sleeping right on top of him, and OT Sans was floating around with OT Frisk. Everyone seemed to be pretty happy.

At least until I get Y/N out of this house. Then original Sans will not be happy.

"Y/N!" I called loudly. To my surprise, Sans looked grateful that I interrupted whatever they were talking about.

"What's up, Ink?" she greeted me. To my surprise as well, she was blushing slightly, although not as great as Sans.

"What were you two talking about?" I asked slyly. Y/N's cheek went on fire.

"Nothing really special or includes you, Ink," she replied casually.

I put a hand over my heart in fake pain. "Ouch. That was so funny, I forgot to laugh."

That was when Sans spoke up. "Really? Did you lose your funny bone?" All three of us laughed. No one payed any attention to us. Well... except for Papyrus.

"SANS!!!" original Papyrus yelled.

"Sorry Paps," Sans laughed.

I composed myself and looked at Y/N. "Y/N, we better get going."

Y/N looked at me. "Which AU this time?"

"Hmm..." Tibia honest, I had no idea. "How about we let the portal choose for us this time?

"Does that even work?"

"No idea. First time trying that."

Y/N shrugged like she didn't even care at all. "I'm up for that. Let's get going." She glared at Sans. "And I'm going to interrogate you later." Sans gulped.

Once we were outside and into a part of the village that was silent and with no one around, I turned around and asked, "Why were you interrogating Sans?"

She blushed red again and told me about the disaster with an x-ray (aka the chapter that I really wasn't thinking when I wrote it). Then, she told me something else. "When I fell asleep, I thought I was going to actually die. I could feel something trying to burst out of my body. I saw it, Ink. I saw the Void. Gaster... he told me that the Void isn't really human or a monster. It's just a thing. But it can shape itself into a human form. Gaster was wrong. It isn't my powers that are trying to control me. It's literally the Void." (Omg I just realized that I did the Void almost exactly like Tartarus in Percy Jackson hahaha).

I was absolutely speechless. It was rare for Gaster to be wrong about something but it was completely another thing when she told me that the Void can shape itself into a human. That was truly scary.

"How did the Void get inside of you in the first place?" I tried not to show the fear in my voice. No such luck.

"Gaster thinks it's because of him. The Void is almost like air. Your skin is absorbing air right? Well, Gaster thinks that he absorbed some of the Void's substance and it transferred to me since I'm hosting him now." Y/N sighed. "But enough about that. Which universe is your portal going to choose? What do you think?"
