Y/N's POV:

I knew that I was still dreaming, but this is beyond dreaming. How am I dying when I'm literally not a physical being right now?

The newcomer sensed my confusion. "It's hard to explain, but the dreams weaken you. In the real world, you're glitching out like mad. Another minute with them attacking you and you'll find yourself stuck in the Void."

I shuddered, knowing how Gaster was stuck in the Void for a long time. It felt... disorienting and weird. As if I'm between life and death.

"So you are?" I waved my hand in a continuing circle motion.

"Oh, my name's Frisk," she replied smoothly. "There hasn't been a certain dimension name for me but I live in a Genocide timeline."

"Ok, I might need your story," I winced. Frisk smiled sadly at me.

"I don't have enough time. Now, I need to go," she replied. I wanted to cry out to her but I couldn't say a word. I was sucked out of my dream and I lay there, gasping loudly, my right hand clutching the heart locket. It had became a fiery shade of dark red.

"It... it was just a dream," I gasped. My eyes closed from weariness but I wasn't able to sleep again. Frustrated, I pried myself out of bed and went to the exit door.

The exit door always shifts where it brings me, and tonight, it brought me to the Undertale room. I was in Sans' room to be exact. Why I built one there, I don't remember but I could take a guess.

"Gaster?" I asked. He was surprisingly quiet for once. Welp, if he does that then I know he's guilty.

Seeing the sleeping form of Sans unnerved me enough to silently take off my locket. Unfortunately, the shifting isn't that quiet. I could hear the barely silent noise, which sounded like a silent crackle of fire.

Sans woke up with an eye glowing blue. My heart pounded faster but I stayed still. Any movement could alert him, especially when I'm camouflaged in the darkness.

Sans looked around in his room. Then, he looked at another bed near his. I wanted to smack my head. Instead, I mentally smacked my forehead. This was also his brother's room. How could I forget?

He looked up at where I was, as if he knew I was there. Then, he sigh and he covered his glowing eye.

"Stupid nightmare," he muttered. I raised an eyebrow. That can't be a coincidence that me and him had a nightmare in the same night.

He made a noise while turning around in his bed and I took the chance for that noise. I snapped my fingers and teleported with a small pop. I thought I saw Sans swirl around but it was too late. I already teleported.

I teleported onto a bench near the river in the echo flower field. It was really relaxing and it took my mind off of pretty much everything.

"Really?" Gaster's voice took me by surprise.

"Well well," I said coldly. "You have some explaining to do."

"Explaining?" Gaster said in his best innocent voice. I rolled my eyes.

"You know exactly what I mean," I said softly, not thinking but talking silently.

"I definitely don't," a voice whispered behind me. I froze. I hadn't put on my locket yet, and it sounded like Sans' voice.

"What do you mean?" I asked, in Gaster's voice.

"Let me take control for a moment," Gaster instructed me. I didn't understand but then I felt my body slipping away.
