Nervously playing with his coin, Connor stared at the closed elevator doors. His encounter with Amanda was borderline traumatizing. If she suspected deviancy, it would be immediately reported to CyberLife, and Connor's life as he knew it would cease to exist. He would never be able to see the sun again, never taste the muggy air of Detroit, or look Lieutenant Anderson in the face again.

"You're starting to piss me off with that coin, Connor."

Okay, maybe Connor wouldn't miss him all that much. Lieutenant Anderson shoved the coin in his pocket, barring Connor from using it.

"Sorry, Lieutenant."

The doors to the elevator opened, and Lieutenant Anderson was the first to step out.

"Hi, Hank." Officer Miller said softly.

"Shit, what's goin' on here? There was a party and nobody told me about it?"

Officer Miller scoffed, "Yeah, it's all over the news, so everybody's butting their nose in. Even the FBI wants a piece of the action."

"Ah Christ, now we got the Feds on our back. I knew this was gonna be a shitty day. So, what do we got?"

Connor walked slowly into the building instead of standing in the elevator. "A group of four androids. They knew the building, and they were very well organized. I'm still trying to figure out how they got this far without being noticed." Officer Miller explained. "They attacked two guards in the hallway. They probably thought the androids were coming to do maintenance. They got taken down before they could react."

He lead them into the hallway that lead to the broadcast room. The first body was of a station employee, as Officer Miller pointed out. He was shot in the back as he made his escape. One bullet straight through the heart from fifty feet, as he said. That level of skill could only be developed by an android.

"How many people were workin' here?"

"Just two employees and three androids. The deviants took the humans hostage and broadcast their message live. They made their getaway from the roof."

"The roof?"

"Yeah, they jumped with parachutes. We're still trying to figure out where they landed, but the weather's not helping."

Connor walked into the broadcast room, met with the sight of a lone man watching the broadcast. The deviant android was not wearing a skin, revealing that he wasn't human. His model, however, was worn proudly on his cheek. Almost as if he was confident no one would find him, even with his model number.

"Oh, Lieutenant, this is Special Agent Perkins from the FBI." Officer Miller introduced. The man regarded Lieutenant Anderson with an unimpressed look. He had a bird-like appearance, and dark eyes. "Lieutenant Anderson is in charge of investigating for Detroit Police."

The man doesn't shake his hand, or even really acknowledge him. He instead looks at Connor. "What's that?"

"My name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife." He says, his tone bordering on rude.

"Androids investigating androids, huh? You sure you want an android hanging around? After everything that happened... Whatever, the FBI will take over the investigation, you'll soon be off the case."

"Pleasure meeting you. Have a nice day." Lieutenant Anderson spat.

"And you watch your step. Don't fuck up my crime scene." Special Agent Perkins said lowly, walking off.

Connor and Lieutenant Anderson stared at his retreating form. "What a fuckin' prick."

"I'll be nearby. If you need anything, just ask."
