For the first time in probably my whole life I am up before the sun rises.

Sleeping in this room is just weird, the bed isn't even facing the right direction. My Queen sized bed is right in the middle of my room. The windows are on one side and the door is on the other. Right behind the bed is my study desk and chair and then behind that is a medium sized walk in closet (a whole entire walk in closet!) with the bathroom right next to it. The most useless thing in the room (the vanity with the larger than life mirror) is attached to the wall right next to the windows near my chaise lounge.

At least the chaise lounge is cute.

Something that I failed to notice last night before passing out catches my attention and I'm wondering how I missed it because it's right in front of me.

White French doors poorly hidden by light see-through drapes that lead to a small and quaint balcony. I'm curious to see what's outside and without wasting another moment I hop out of bed and make my way to the doors.

In just my simple soot colored shirt with the rolled up sleeves, I make my way to the glass doors figuring that none of my neighbors would be awake just yet.

Who the hell wakes up at this time anyway?

When I finally step outside I am welcomed by a soft, gentle breeze that causes some of the curly tendrils of my hair to tickle my face. I could never have prepared myself for the sight in front of me. It is absolutely breathtaking.

One small black balcony chair with intricate detailing and a small black coffee table with cute little legs rests in the center of the balcony. On the other side is a plush cream bench that is attached to the wall with small throw pillows of various designs on top of it.

Above me are a string of fairy lights hanging from the roof of the balcony, they make the small space feel warm and comfy. In front of me is a metal railing that has been painted black with a few pot plants containing assorted plants hanging from it. The small space really looks like something that has been plucked out of the pages of a high end magazine...and it's all mine!

I hang on to the edge of the metal railing and look down to see our backyard with the garden next to it.

To the far left of it is a swimming pool which looks a bit detached from everything else and it all looks amazing.

I am impressed.

The good old sun finally starts making an appearance and the sky visibly changes color to a light orange with streaks of bright pink. I look up, captivated by the beautiful mix of colors.

I can't really see the sun since it's probably beginning its ascent from behind me and it's only when something shifts in my peripheral vision that I'm able to steer my eyes away from the sky and look right in front of me.

Oh boy!

A shirtless male character in loose fitting shorts and reading glasses perches himself on a balcony chair nearly identical to the ones I have, a steaming cup of what I'm assuming is coffee in one hand and a book in the other. When he looks up, our eyes meet.
