The students of St. McLeod Learning Institute are quite an interesting and fickle bunch.
They are easily swayed, believe whatever they're told and come to the most interesting conclusions. Something as simple as "I saw her at the mall wearing a red dress" can easily become "The slut wore a dress so short it left nothing to the imagination and she's also sleeping with an endless list of students, the principal, the Math teacher, the janitor and also old Mr. Lottie from 28 Belford Lane who's happily married with twenty kids" once it's been through the grapevine but today's rumors?
"Did you hear that Pantheon broke up?"
"Not only that. April and Thandi had a fallout, she was cheating on him with Rob,"
"No I heard that it's because April and Valeria have secretly been getting it on, apparently there's also a video,"
"Eewe no! Valeria's like a super nerd...April wouldn't come near her with a hundred meter stick,"
"Valeria is a stick but anyway that's not important. Can we talk about how Isabella has her memory back now? She totally destroyed Thandi along with all the populars without lifting a finger, imagine what she'll do to the rest of us now,"
"We all knew this day would come the minute she walked right back in from the dead, maybe we shouldn't have sided with Thandi all along, who knew she never had the flash drive anyway? Isabella's vicious, we should have been sucking up to her instead and now she'll finally ruin us."
"Dude, and what she did to Ethan? She was totally using him to get her memory back then she ditched him the minute she remembered everything. Talk about harsh,"
"I blame Ethan. He knew full well what Isabella's capable of, how did he get himself into such a mess again?"
"Maybe she threatened him. Or maybe she was sleeping with him,"
"Why would he willingly sleep with her after everything that went down between the two of them last year? That was some pretty heavy stuff,"

This has gone too far.
I clear my throat and the group of gossip mongers in front of me quickly turn around and I give them what I hope is a withering glare. They're quick to turn pale and redirect their gossip to other less scandalous topics like Mrs. Tyler's new boobs.
I've developed a thick skin when it comes to their words, knowing that everything they say about me is baseless and holds no actual weight but this morning's rumors have no doubt put me on edge.
They easily blow the smallest things out of proportion but sometimes, where there's smoke, there's also fire.
I hardly ever see April and Thandi together anymore and the number of members in the flamingo posse has drastically been reduced to just Thandi and Valeria --who nobody really likes mind you—since it was revealed that Thandi had simply been playing everyone. It is also true that April and Thandi broke up and I hardly ever see that Rob guy which has significantly reduced April's lackey count to just one.
