Girl Mechanic by JellOfAllTrades
Chapter 7"Suzie!" Ronnie called out. "C'mon, lunch!"
Suzie is spending more and more time with Levi and her friends that she isn't bothered that Ronnie's been busy with her club to have lunch with her.
"You're not going to the club room?"
Ronnie shook her head and entwined her arm with Suzie's. "I'm free today so it's about time I meet this girl, Levi."
"That's great!" Suzie said, excited. "You're gonna love her! She's awesome!"
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever, let's go!" Ronnie rolled her eyes.
The two of them met up with Levi's group in the canteen where Suzie introduced Ronnie.
"Ronnie, these are Paul, Johnny, Allan and Dominic. Of course, this is Levi Mariano." Suzie introduced the boys to her friend before sliding into the seat beside Levi.
"Hi, nice to meet all of you!" Ronnie smiled. "Especially you, Levi. Suzie can't stop talking about you."
"Ronnie!" Suzie flushed, embarrassed.
"Really?" Levi asked, interested. "What did she tell you about me?"
"A lot," Ronnie snicked as Suzie flushed deep red.
"You're Suzie's best friend?" Paul asked. "Why haven't Suzie introduced you to us sooner?"
"I've been a bit busy with my club. I'm a member of the Gazette."
They had a pretty great time and by the end of it, Paul has asked Ronnie for her cell number.
"Oh my gosh, Suzie!" Ronnie squealed after separating from the guys. "Why didn't you mention Paul to me before?"
"What do you think of Levi?" Suzie asked, ignoring her friend's obvious crushing on Paul.
"Suzie!" Ronnie said, hitting her best friend on the arm with a notebook. "I'm asking you about Paul!"
"Well, Paul's a nice guy. Levi told me he collects racing cars too and he works on a car repair shop on his free time. I didn't really thought he'll be your type. Now, will you tell me what you think of Levi?"
Ronnie sighed dreamily like she does when she has found herself a new crush. Suzie rolled her eyes and waited until the girl got herself together.
"So?" Suzie asked, impatient.
"Levi may or may not be gay since she has four guy best friends and is in the engineering department. You know that engineering is dominated by the male species." Ronnie flicked her hand like everything she's saying is the most obvious thing ever. "And the fact that you described her room as the most boyish girl's bedroom you've ever been to, I say you got a great chance with her as long as she doesn't put you on the friendzone."
"Really?"
"So, do you think Paul likes me?" Ronnie asked.
Suzie let out a sigh but smiled knowing Ronnie's not gonna stop talking about Paul.
"Yes."
Suzie waited on the bench underneath the large narra tree for Levi. It's Wednesday and they've made an agreement that Levi would go home with Levi instead of commuting.
"Hey, Suzie!" Levi arrived with a big smile plastered on her pretty face.
"Let's go?" Suzie asked, standing up.
"You know Suzi, I'm grateful that you're giving me rides home. I'm saving a lot of time and money this way." Levi said. "I can finally buy that piece I need for the Beetle."
