"We don't need her help," Deja said while gritting her teeth. She glared at Bria while Chris wrapped one of his hands around her arm to keep her next to him. Shay stepped in front of Deja.
"I really don't want to hear your mouth," Bria said.
"Hold up," Cash interjected, "You are the last one who needs to have an attitude right now." She said. Bria huffed but said nothing. "And Deja you need to calm down because if she knows where my sister and your brother are then we do need her help."
Everyone stood quietly, waiting to see if Deja was going to respond. Bria knew none of them wanted to see her. It had to hurt Deja to know that Bria had killed her niece or nephew, but at the same time Deja couldn't feel her pain.
Deja pulled at the end of her hair and let out a small scream.
"Start talking,"
Bria scratched her head and tried to clear her throat.
"Well I was coming back to talk to Corey and apologize, for what I did. I saw his car and pulled up next to the ice cream place. I saw him and Yani hugging and I took it the wrong way," Bria said.
"What does this have to do with anything, skip to the part where we care," Deja cut her off. Bria closed her eyes and sighed.
A lot had changed since she had been gone. Bria wasn't the same fire cracker with a heavy hand that she used to be. She could still hold her own, but the fight within herself had died down.
"Yani and I kind of fought before Cee pulled her off of me and jumped in his car," Bria said. Cash shook her head.
"You fought her because of what you thought you saw?" Shay asked. "What is going on with you?"
"Look I know I was wrong okay!" Bria yelled. She waited until everyone got quiet before continuing. "I followed them but got cut off by a black car. I thought he was just trying to get around Cee's car but they started ramming into the back of his car," Bria said as tears streamed down her face, remembering them pulling Corey out of the car.
"What happened once he got them?" Chris asked.
"I slowed down and stayed far enough away, they took them to some little building off of 70,"
"I know where that is," Andreas said. Everyone turned to look at him.
"Are you sure?" Chris said as Davon kissed his son on his head before walking over to the gun case.
"Hell yeah, I know just where it is," he said jumping off the ground slightly.
"Just follow me," Bria said.
"No, you aren't going," Davon said. "You stay here with B."
Breezey looked at him and frowned.
"Don't even do that woman, you not taking my child out there like that," Davon said with bass lacing his voice. B and Davon had a slight staring match before B's shoulders slightly sunk in and she sat down and held Baby Eric tighter, glaring at Davon while rocking him.
"Get back quick," she said. Davon walked over to her before gently pulling on the ends of her hair to raise her face so that he could kiss her.
"I'll stay here too," Shay said knowing that Chris wasn't going to be for her going anyway. He nodded before closing the gun case and locking it.
Chris, Davon, Andreas, Cash and Deja left, leaving Shay, Bria, Breezey and Baby Eric.
"He's beautiful," Bria said looking at Baby Eric. B slowly turned towards her before speaking.
