The smell of lasagna was the first thing that Logan smelled when she entered the house. Her stomach grumbled on queue.

She turned to Georgie with a grateful smile but was met with a look of pleasant confusion.

"I didn't cook anything." Georgie said and started walking towards the kitchen. Logan put her bag down on one of the couches and followed her.

"Afternoon." Dean said as they walked into the kitchen.

"Dude, you cook?" Logan said unable to hide her surprise. Georgie dubbed her in the ribs and glared at her.

"What did I do?" She asked confused.

"First of all, of course Dean cooks, he's super like that." She said walking to Dean and kissing his forehead. Dean let out a low chuckle. "And second, 'dude' isn't an appropriate term to use on someone who is old enough to be your father."

"Right, my bad. These things slip sometimes. Teenage problems." Logan answered walking around the counter to look at the casserole dish in the oven.

"I'm starving. How long till it's done?"

"Not long, just enough for a certain 'teenager' to change out of her uniform and freshen up." Dean said pushing her out of the kitchen.

"Fine." She grumbled walking up the stairs to her room.

"How'd you get Georgie to agree to chocolate mint." Logan asked licking the ice cream off the back of her spoon.

"I love chocolate mint ice cream, she loves me. Simple." Dean said sitting back in his couch with a smug smile.

"She loves me too." She said with playful jealousy. "But I've haven't been able to get her to buy anything that wasn't vanilla or strawberry."

"Its all in the eyes. No one can resist green puppy eyes. You should try it some time." He said putting his empty bowl that was once filled with ice cream on the center table.

"I hate my eyes." Logan said in a barely audible voice, but Dean heard it.

"Why would you hate your eyes? They are beautiful. Take it from me, I flaunt my green eyes everywhere and anywhere." He said wiggling his eyebrows.

Logan laughed then let out a sigh. "I think it reminds my mom of my father, she doesn't have green eyes so I must have gotten it from him."

"You father?" Dean asked not really sure what he was expecting as an answer.

"Yeah, I never knew him. He left my mom just before she got the chance to tell him that she was pregnant with me. He apparently just disappeared without saying anything."

"I'm sorry to hear that." Dean said not knowing what else to say.

Logan shrugged carelessly. "It's not a big deal. I just hate that I inherited his green eyes. It should have been something less noticeable that wouldn't stand out so much."

"Georgie says you look a lot like your mom, you're almost identical"

"Yeah I do." Logan said, a proud smile on her face. "The eyes ruined it. They were blue when i was younger. My mom said they started changing when I was five or six. I know she wishes they stayed blue."

"That happened to me too. My dad had blue eyes and my mom has green. I was born with them blue but they changed to green overtime. My mom was ecstatic because I looked so much like my dad, I would finally have something of hers." Dean said running his hands through his hair.

"Well then maybe I still have time. Maybe my eyes will turn brown overtime." She said sarcastically.

"Highly unlikely kid. You're eighteen, the greens are stuck with you. Welcome to the club." Dean said laughing as Logan pouted in disappointment.

"Greens' sounds like you're talking about vegetables." She grumbled making Dean's laugh only become louder.
