🌕Chapter 11🌕

🌕6:10pm - Daegu🌕

We arrived at the closest hospital ten minutes later. The last thing I remember was seeing an ambulance driver lifting my painful body out of the car and onto a stretcher with Taes concerned face standing behind him.

My eyes peeled open slowly to  reveal the blur of grey and white which I presumed was a the ceiling of the hospital.
"T-Tae?" I groaned .
"Chunja!?" I heard quietly as my hearing slowly faded back.
I felt Taes huge hands dwarfing mine as he leaned over my bed.
I heard the soft click clack as my eyed adjusted and a nurse arrived at ny other side holding open my eye amd shining a bright light into my eye. I squirmed away slightly.
I heard them talking to eachother but my ears were'nt  adjusted yet.

Suddenly my body got all its feelings back and my ears started ringing as my left ribs and hip started aching and burning making me wince .
"Ouchh" I whined .
I heard the nurse shushing me as I squeezed Tae's hand to ease the pain.

"Chunja? Chunja ? Can you hear me?" I heard the nurse ask. She had a heavy Daegu accent.
"Chunja, can you try and answer me ?"

I felt my dry throat shake as I groaned in an answer.
"Chunja, you have gotten into an accident , you have bruised two ribs and your hip badly, buy we are happy to say that nothing is broken ."
I felt relief flood through my body.
Nothing is broken nothing is broken repeated in my head. My parents are going to kill me .

"Tae," I croaked .
"Ah?" He answered eagerly , hanging onto my words.
"My parents...." I started but my dry throat made me cough.
"They're on their way, its ok." He reassured me.
No. Thats the least reassuring thing I've ever heard.
"No..." I groaned . I seen his confused face before I seen my sternnand angry looking parents arriving behind him outside the door looking in the window.
I quickly snatched my hand from Tae's and he followed my gaze to my parents stern faces . I think he was scared by them too because he leant back in his chair as if he hadn't been leaning so close to me seconds before .
  My parents walked in stonly cold folding their arms . My mother beckoned coldly to Tae to get up and she took his seat. He moved away cautiously .
I seen my mother piercing eyez judging me as she ripped back the thin covers to examinw my bandaged torso.
He clenched her jaw and shook her head .
"What were you doing on that cliff you stupid , stupid! girl." She hissed in anger.
Fear filled my body as I knew I was incapable of answering .

"It was my fault." I heard Tae say. Fear for him filled my body as I seen both ny parents shoot dagger eyrs towards him.
"I was just showing her the view of the sea , she slipped when she was leaving in a hurry to make it to family dinner with you."
My mother looked full of fury.
"And you are?"
"I'm Taehyung, your neighbour."
She looked him up and down.
"Why were you with my daughter mr Taehyung?" She pressured.
"Showing her the view." He smiled.
I seen ny mothers face twist in disgust. She's not used to people not being scared of her.
She half scoffed and half laughed.
"Well, I think its time you leave . Its getting late and your parents will be wondering where you are ." My father sniffed.
"Yeah, yeah you're right, I'll be back tommorrow." He said as he picked up his coat and headed for the door.

I wanted him back so bad at that moment. I felt empty.
