????Chapter 21????

🌸 Daegu - 2:00am🌸

We lie on one of the blankets they've laid out on the soft sand . Tae's arm supporting my head as I face him . My arm lies across his waist.

"Are we going to talk about tonight ?" I half whisper, smiling to myself as I remember the events of earlier. Our first kiss.

"What do you mean?" He asks gently .

I sit up on one elbow and lay facing him. Does the same . His hand rests on my hip as he fiddle with a piece of fabric on my dress.

"Was it just a game or was it real?" . In my heart I know it was real. For me anyway. A kiss like that could never be just a game.

"Well, do you want it to be real?" He smiles adoringly.

What a question. I ask it to myself in my head over and over again.
Do I really want it to be real? Have I gone to far for it to not be real?

I nod and smile. "Yes."

I've never been in a proper relationship before but I don't want to tell him that.
 
  I've kissed exactly three other boys all because my friends had set me up at house parties hoping that maybe I wouldn't be single after .

"Me too." He smiles . His hand cups ny face as he moves closer and kisses me. 
I haven't felt this happy in years. I never thought a relationship would have this effect on me.  Like in the movies when the woman finds her euphoria in a man, as if it was that simple.

I can't help but smile.

"But what are we going to do when the Summer ends." , the sudden realisation that the summer will indeed end and trainees are not allowed relationships hits me.

He frowns slightly making my heart sink.

"We'll stay in touch."

It doesn't reassure me at all . The tone he said it in shows he too isn't sure.

I nod slightly.

"Lets just not think about that now," he lies down and so do I.

"Lets just live in the moment." He breathes.

We watch the twinkling stars beam from the sky as we drift asleep.

What the?

My eyes peel open as water pitters onto my face.  My dress stuck to me and see through. I sit up wearily , un aware of whats going on. 

Popped baloons and destroyed flower reefs litter the beach. The banners hang in depression as the silk breaks from the rain. The blanket we lie on is drenched.

I glance at Tae who's still asleep despite the rain falling on him.
Everyone's gone and they didn't even wake us up.

"Tae." I mumble as I shake him.
He sits up rubbing his eyes and groaning. He looks at me and jumps back a bit saying "Oh!"

"W-what?" I ask confused. "What!?"

"You look terrible." He mumbles as he
Pushes his wet fringe from his face.

I pull out my phone and look at my face in the camera. My mascara has run all over my face and mixed in with my running foundation to make me lool like something out of a horror movie.
