        "Knock Knock hot stuff"

I look up to see Grace standing in the doorway, smiling at me. She still wears her dress skirt and blazer, her short hair curled. In her hand she holds a white bag, a backery take away bag. Taking it from her, i lick my lips.

"Whatcha get me?" I ask, place my red pen in the book and closing it.

"Muffin, blueberry" She answers, going to sit in the extra chair in my office.

"You know me so well" I smile, setting a napkin out and placing the muffin on it. "Did you get Lu anything?"

"Yeah there should be a bagel in there too" I look in to see a bagel sitting there. I turn and knock on the thin glass wall seperating our offices.

"Lu Grace brought you a bagel" I say, he nods and flips the book upside down so the pages are spralled out on the table.

"Thanks Gracie" He says, sitting on my desk while he starts on his bagle"

        "No problemo" Grace smiles

"Hows the station" I ask, picking off a piece of muffin and ploping it into my mouth.

"It's good" she nods, " news is new so it's always changing"

"That tends to be the definition of 'news'" Lucas points out. Grace gives him a look and does the classic "adjust your glasses on the bridge of your nose" move. Lucas sends her a glare.

"anyway" I say, turning to my computer, " I hear there is a party going on this friday. You going Grace?"

"Whos party? I go to a lot of parties" Grace laughs.

"I saw on twitter that Britt is having her album release party" I say, showing her the tweet Britt sent out.

" Hm" Grace says, looking over my shoulder, "They might send someone to cover it"

"Sophie" I turn to see Noah standing in the door way, a grey button up and hair combed away from his eyes.

"Hey Noah" I say, turning my chair to face him, i ignore the look Grace gives me.

"I was wondering where you kept the staples around here" He asks, rubbing the back of his neck

"Supply closet, to the left, third shelf" I say, my eyes never leaving his.

"Thanks" He smiles, then walks out.

"Holy shit" Grace says, turning to look at me. "That guy is hot"

"....and that is when i leave" Lucas says, standing and waving us goodbye. Grace follows him and shut the door when he leaves.

        "Who is he"

"Noah Harper" I say, "He started here yesterday"

"Google him" Grace demands, pulling the chair over beside mine.

"I'm not gonna drop everything and cyber stalk him" I say. She rolls her eyes and turns the keyboard toward her.

        "Where is he from?"

        "I dont know"

        "Yes you do"

"New York." I say with a sigh, i turn to make sure the door is close before turning back to see she found his Facebook page.

"Would you look at that" Grace says with a smirk, she hold her finger up to the word SINGLE

"Who even checks facebook anymore" I say, "That could be old"

"For work it says Morris Publishing" Grace says flatly. i bit my lip and stare at the little photos icon.

"i dont know Grace" I say unsure. Grace looks at me.

"Do you wanna see what this guy is really like or not?" She asks. I stay silent and she laughs, "i'll answer that for you"

The page loads and picture after picture pops up. One of him smiling with another guy, then another of what looks like a party. He smiles with a blonde girl, both beers in their hand.

"You think thats his girlfriend?" Grace asks, i shrug and we click the photo.

"That date is two years ago" i point out.

" Noah and I at a new years party, happy 2012 everyone!" Grace reads.

"Did they date?" I ask. Grace clicks on the girls profile. Taylor is her name.

"Says they dated 2010 to 2012"  Grace announces.

"Maybe thats why he left New York" I say, Grace shurgs.

"Either way" She says, "This guy is hot and is into you"

"No he isnt" I say, leaning back in my seat

"Did you see they way he looked at you?" she asks, "I mean he asked you for staples, everything in this place is labeled, he could have found it"

"Maybe he didnt realize everything was labeled yet" I offer, "It's been two days"

"All you guys do here is pay attention to mistakes and read, trust me, he would have known"

        "Maybe" i say, "maybe not"
