"Girl you have no idea how crazy this place is" I mutter, holding the phone to my ear. I weave between people on the busy streets of NYC. Times Square is a lot busier then i could have imagined.

"I wish i was with you" Grace says, "It's been raining here"

I snort, "Glad i'm here then"

"Where is Noah?" She asks, I squeeze thru two people and quickly mutter an 'excuse me'

"Uhh" I say, "He said he had to do something with his dad today"

"That's fun" She says, "So i told Thomas"

"Oh" I gulp, "How did that go"

"Well" She says, "At first it was quiet, which scared me then he started crying and i cried and we hugged and we are happy"

"I'm so happy" I sigh, "Literally Gracie, So happy"

"Me too" She agrees, "Lucas and Tasha went on a date last night, it was cute, he sent me snapchats"

"Adorable" I comment, walking into a store.

"It was" She says, "You should buy me something"

I laugh, "What do you want?"

        "Ummmm" She hums.

"Well" I say, "I see this One Direction poster here, i can buy it for you if you like"

"ohh" she hums, "Who is in the middle?"

"umm" I say, "The one with curly hair"

        "Harry" She says, "Buy it"

"They need to shower" I say, picking the rolled up poster

"They need to marry me" She retorts, i snort

        "Aren't you pregnant?"

"so?" She smarts, "Zayn will love me"

I roll my eyes, "I pray for you, Potts"

        "And i, you, Travis"

"Is this all you'd like miss?" The women asks, I look at the key chain i picked out for Lucas and poster for Grace. I bit my lip and glance around. I feel like i should get something for Noah, i know how much he misses New York. My eyes settle on the snow globe. I pick it up and see the statue of liberty and the city sky line.

        "This too" I say, "Please"

I pay and carry my bag out and into the September air. The city is busy even during this time of the year. I walk around and take pictures. I even call my mom from liberty island. I love the city.

After my Hudson adventure, i find myself  walking past a publishing building. Little House Publishing happened to be the largest publishing house aside from Morris. I bit my lip and look at the building. Morris has been my job for a while now, would it bad to look inside? I decide to be adventurous and walk inside. The lobby is nice, but nothing compared to the marble lobby back in the office.

It's almost like Morris runs the western half of the country and Little House is the eastern. The woman at the front desk is typing away on her Mac desktop when i stop at the desk.

"Hello" She says, "Welcome to Little House Publishing, how can i help you?"

"Umm" I say, adjusting my shoulder strap, " I was wondering if i could get some information about working here"

She nods and pulls out a fancy folder. "This is our collection of employment information in any branch. Currently, we could always use editors and readers. Do you have an experience?"

        "Yeah" I nod, "I'm an editor/reader"

"Oh" She smiles, "We always love helping those who start off at smarter houses"

"I work at Morris" I say

Her smile falls and she looks away, quickly to recover. "How lovely"

I can tell she was thrown off, i find that quite funny.

"Thanks for the info" I smile, grabbing the folder and walking out the doors

I sigh when i get back into the street. Cars honk beside me as i walk down the side walk. I smile and look up at the amazing sight of the city. I feel like i'm slowly falling in love with this city.

        My phone starts to ring.

        "Hello?" I say

"Soph" He says, "Where are you?"

"Just walking around the city" I say, "I'll be back soon"

"Don't rush" He says, "I'm still helping dad with stuff, but i'll be home around 6ish so i was wondering if we could go grab something to eat"

"Is this a date proposal?" I muse

"indeed, Hazel Grace" I snort when i hear his dad in the background asking who Hazel is.

"Well" I say, smacking my lips together, " I suppose i can make some time for you"

"Wonderful" He says, "I'll pick you up and my house at 6"

"Won't you already be there?" I laugh, "We are staying at your house"

"Only for another day, then we are going to a hotel" He says

"You never told me which one" I say

"It's a surprise" He says, "I'll tell you tonight at dinner"

"Alright" i say, "I love you"

"Love you too" He says, "Bye"

        "Bye"
