Amari wanted me to stay the night to make sure I was gonna be okay. Mrs. Parsons was trying her best to help me in the littlest way possible, simply because if things were public and stuff... my life would be ruined.

• The Next Day ~ Morning •

I woke up and seen Amari getting dressed. I hurried and got out of the bed. "Addi calm down, it's early." Amari said walking over to me.

"S-Sorry" I said going back to her bed and laying down. Amari stood in the same position looking at me.

"Addi baby" she chuckled going to her bathroom. She came back with her pack of pads. She handed me the bag and I got up.

I groaned because I hate being on my period, my cramps are the worse when i'm on my period. I changed my clothes and put on a pad.

"It's about time to get dressed now" Amari chuckled.

"Oh sorry, I'm just..." I stopped in mid sentence before saying anything.

"It's okay, I understand. I have an outfit for you to wear anyways" she smiled really big going into her closet. She came back with with an outfit and handed to me.

"Mari... this looks kinda small. You know I'm fat" I said and she scrunched up her face.

"Fat where sis? You just thick" I chuckled going into the bathroom putting the outfit on. It fit better than what I expected.

"Prettyyyy" she said pulling up my top a little bit causing me to laugh

"Prettyyyy" she said pulling up my top a little bit causing me to laugh.

"Can't have your tits out Addi, you know our school is full of perverts" Amari said.

I went back into her bathroom grabbing a big band-aid, I put it on my left wrist trying to help it heal. I slid on my slides and went to their kitchen.

I overheard Amari and her mother talking. "She can stay here, her parents made me one of the guardians that are allowed to take her in" her mother said and I heard Amari gasped. "Ma... like for real? She can live here?" Amari asked and her mother chuckled. I went ahead and walked all the way into the kitchen and Amari ran up to me hugging me tight.

"What's this about?" I chuckled and Amari continued to hug me.

"You can stay here, this is going to be your home until further notice. I talked to the police and everyone already because they came by to check up on you.... and they found your uncle... but he's not alive" Mrs. Parsons said and I took a deep breath. It's good that I can stay here but it's bad that he's died... im like the only person left of my family.
