Addison

I was in the living room with the rest of the guys while Nicholas rested upstairs. They seemed cool and actually talked to me.

"So... you and Nahmir ?" One dude asked and the rest of em chuckled.

"What do you mean ?" I responded and he looked upstairs and then back at me.

"So youan tryna get wit me babygirl ? You know I'm sexy" he said and I scrunched my face and ignored him.

"SHES LOYAL" everyone yelled and I got up.

"Damn that ass" I heard another one of the boys say.

I rolled my eye and walked into the kitchen sitting in one of seats by the island.

I heard Nicholas voice, he sounded like he was talking to someone else.

"Nah nigga that shit ain't fucking cool........ I got stabbed by the psycho ass hoe......... stop playing dumb, every time I move on from that hoe she try some dumb ass shit to get me back and this time I wasn't risking losing my girl for that dumbass....... I really don't give a fuck that Glizz killed ole girl, she not my girl........ Nigga my girl whereabouts ain't yo goddamn business....... nigga shut the fuck up, we not gone get her involved in this ight.... bye nigga damn"

"Don't get yourself involved Addi, please don't" I jumped hearing Glizzy whisper in my ear. I looked at him and sighed.

"What's all this about ? What's happening ?" I asked and he looked away from me.

"That's none of your business Addison, just don't get involved" he said and I felt my blood beginning to boil.

"None of my business ?! Don't get involved ?! That is my whole boyfriend in there in pain! What am I to you, some dumbass hoe who only with him for sex and money ?! No nigga" I yelled at Glizzy.

He continued to look away from me but the second he did he had no emotion on his face.

"Y'all are crazy, I'm out of here" I said and got up. I looked up at the top of the staircase seeing Nicholas. He was just standing there, I acted like I didn't see him and walked straight out the house.

Getting into my car hooking up my music, "Bad Boy" by Queen Naija came on. (This is literally my favorite song by her🤷🏽‍♀️) I pushed the replay button and let the song play loudly as I drove back home.

I pulled into the driveway singing the song. I took a deep breath letting the lyrics of the song sink into my mind.

"I'm gonna-" I was cut off by my phone ringing. I looked down at the caller ID, it was an unknown number.

I'm not type to answer the phone so I let it ring and once it stopped I got a text message.

I left the message on read and took a few deep breaths.

"If i'm gonna improve myself, I gotta be able to not over react over this dumb ass shit" I said to myself and got out of the car walking up to the house.
