Meanwhile, Secretary Ross was having a word with Stark about what just happened. Tony has a black eye and cut on his brow from his pow-wow with Bucky.
"I don't suppose you have any idea where they are?" Ross asked.
"We will. GSG-9's got the borders covered. Recon's flying 24/7. They'll get a hit. We'll handle it," Tony said.
"You don't get it, Stark. It's not yours to handle. It's clear you can't be objective. I'm putting Special Ops on this," Ross stated.
"What happens when the shooting starts? What, do you kill Steve and Y/N Rogers?" Natasha guessed.
"If we're provoked. Barnes would've been eliminated in Romania if it wasn't for the two of them. There are dead people who would be alive now. Feel free to check my math," Ross explained.
"All due respect, you're not going to solve this with boys in bullets, Ross. You gotta let us bring them in," Tony insisted.
"How would that end any differently from the last time?" Ross questioned.
"Because this time, I won't be wearing loafers and a silk shirt. 72 hours, guaranteed," Tony requested.
"36 hours. Barnes. Both Rogers. Wilson," Ross remarked then walked off.
"Thank you, sir," Tony said, rubbed his hand on his chest, and asked, "My left arm is numb, is that normal?"
Natasha patted him on the shoulder and asked, "You alright?"
"Always," Tony answered then commented, "36 hours, jeez."
"We're seriously understaffed," Natasha said.
"Oh, yeah. It'd be great if we had a Hulk right about now. Any shot?" Tony wondered.
"No. You really think he'd be on our side?" Natasha asked.
"No," Tony answered.
"I have an idea," Natasha informed.
"Me too. Where's yours?" Tony said.
"Downstairs. Where's yours?" Natasha wondered, raising an eyebrow.
Tony smiled slightly then went to recruit a boy with spider-like powers.
Meanwhile, Clint Barton came out of retirement and helped Wanda escape Avenger's HQ.
