Chapter 36: Another Fight

Tony was taken back by this. This whole time his parents weren't killed in a car accident, but by the Winter Soldier. He put his helmet back on and punched Steve to the floor and blocked the gunfire from Bucky and Y/N. The fight escalated to where Tony and Bucky were thrown down a level of the base.

"Y/N! Get Bucky out of here!" Steve said.

Y/N ran and jumped to where she blocked Tony's attacks after Bucky hit a control panel, opening a door.

"It wasn't him, Tony. Hydra had control of his mind!" Y/N tried to explain.

"Move!" Tony ordered.

"It wasn't him!" Y/N shouted.

Then Steve came out of nowhere and stopped Tony from kicking her. He then damaged his boot and when Tony tried to fly, it faltered.

"Left boot jet failing. Flight systems compromised," FRIDAY informed.

"Ah crap," Tony remarked.

Bucky and Y/N went up on the platforms with Tony going after Bucky. He fired an energy bolt at him, but Y/N jumped over, blocked it in time, then threw it at Tony, making him fall to the lower platform as she caught her shield.

"He's not going to stop. Go," Y/N told him.

"I'm not leaving you," Bucky said.

"I'll be right behind you. Now go," she said.

As Tony continued to try and get Bucky, Steve shot a wide around Iron Man's neck to keep him down. Tony dodged the shield then tried to target Bucky again.

"Come on, come on," Tony said.

"Targeting system's knackered, boss," FRIDAY informed.

"I'm eyeballing it," Tony responded.

He took off his helmet and aimed at the open hatch. He hit the hinges, making it shut, keeping Bucky from escaping. Then he flew up and fought Bucky until he grabbed him by the throat.

"Do you even remember them?" Tony snapped.

"I remember all of them," Bucky answered.

That's when Bucky pushed them off and Steve and Y/N jumped and stopped them from doing so. Y/N and Bucky landed on a platform while Steve and Tony hit the concrete, Steve losing his shield.

"This isn't gonna change what happened," Steve pointed out.

"I don't care. He killed my mom," Tony glowered and threw a punch at him.

As they fought, Bucky helped Y/N up.

"We need to get down there and help Steve," Y/N breathed.

"Y/N, you've saved me and him a lot. Let me take the wheel this time," Bucky pointed out.

She thought about it then said, "Alright? Whatcha got?"

He quickly told her the plan then sprung into action.

Steve and Tony continued fighting until Tony had Steve pinned. Then Bucky, with Steve's shield, and Y/N, with her shield, came down and they joined in. Steve and Bucky would toss the shield back and forth as they took him on while Y/N would use her own.

Meanwhile, T'Challa caught Zemo, listening to the voicemail from his wife. Once he learned the truth, T'Challa decided to do the right thing and let Zemo live to face justice.
