Chapter 29: The War Part 2

Meanwhile, Steve kicked Rhodey away, the mace now broken, then sent T'Challa reeling.

"Great," Rhodey remarked.

"Hey, Cap, heads up!" Scott said, tossing him a miniature truck, then instructed while holding a growing device, "Throw it at this. Now!"

Scott threw the device then Steve threw the truck. They collide and the truck grew, tumbling towards Rhodey.

"Oh, come on!" Rhodey muttered.

The truck landed and exploded, but Rhodey avoided it.

"What the hell," Y/N exclaimed.

"Oh, man. I thought it was a water truck. Uh...sorry," Scott apologized then he and the siblings ran.

"Alright. Now, I'm pissed," Rhodey stated.

"Is this part of the plan?" Natasha asked as Tony helped her up.

"Well, my plan was to go easy on them. You wanna switch it up?" Tony suggested.

"There's our ride," Clint told Wanda, indicating the Quinjet.

"Come on!" Steve commanded.

His whole team started running for the Quinjet until fizzing energy cut them off and they saw Vision.

"Captain Rogers. I know you believe what you're doing is right. But for the collective good you must surrender now," Vision explained.

Then the rest of Tony's team came, blocking Steve's team from the Quinjet.

"What do we do, Cap?" Sam asked.

"We fight," Steve answered.

"Together," Y/N added, taking Bucky's hand.

He looked at her then said, "I love you."

"I love you too," she responded then told everyone, "Let's do this."

"This is gonna end well," Natasha commented.

Both teams started walking toward each other with determination.

"They're not stopping," Spidey informed.

"Neither are we," Tony decided.

Then they all started running and fought.
     • Iron Man vs. Captain America
     • Vision vs. Hawkeye
     • War Machine vs. Falcon
     • Black Panther vs. Lady America and Winter Soldier
     • Black Widow vs. Ant Man then Hawkeye then Scarlet Witch
     • Spider-Man vs. Scarlet Witch then Captain America

Clint and Natasha fought then he pinned her to the ground.

"We're still friends, right?" she asked.

"Depends on how hard you hit me," he answered with a smirk.

She spun him with her legs and was about to kick his head until Wanda stopped her.

"You were pulling your punches," Wanda commented, making Clint nod.

Bucky and T'Challa had each other by the throat while Y/N tried to get T'Challa off.

"You have to listen to us, your highness," Y/N replied.

"I didn't kill your father," Bucky said.

"Then why did you run?" T'Challa pointed out.

He then got Bucky to let go and sent him back. Before T'Challa could finish him off, Y/N stopped him with her shield, then shoved him into a passenger gangway.

"Have I mentioned how much I love you?" Bucky smirked.

"Yes, but I never get used to it," Y/N smiled then they resumed the fight.
