It has been two years since the events of the Winter Soldier. Y/N has been looking out for Bucky, even though he tries to stay away to keep her safe. Then when an enemy, Zemo, comes in and uses Bucky to start a Civil War between the heroes, will Y/N...
Meanwhile in Bucharest, Bucky was buying some plums from a fruit store.
"Ce fac ei? Sunt bune? Dă-mi șase, mulțumesc," Bucky said.

He wore a black cap and casual jacket as he walked along scanning around. He noticed someone from a newsstand watching him, so he looked away. But that didn't change the fact that he was still being watched. That's when Bucky saw him run, so he picked up a newspaper. The front page was about him killing the king of Wakanda in Vienna, making him tense up.
He started to head back to the apartment when he saw Y/N, running toward him. He ran to her and they hugged.

"Y/N, we have to get out of here," Bucky said.
"I know. People think you killed the king of Wakanda. Let's get back to the apartment, get our stuff, and get out of here," Y/N urged.
He nodded and they ran back to the apartment.
That's when Steve arrived in his uniform. He made it to the small apartment Y/N sent him. He looked around at the place to see how run down it was. Steve found a notebook on top of the fridge. He picked it up and opened it to see tabs of varying colors sticking out from the pages.
"Heads up, Cap. German Special Forces, approaching from the south," Sam informed over his radio.
"Understood," Steve responded.
Bucky was then right behind Steve. Steve slowly turned around to face him. Bucky turned to Y/N, who was behind him, giving him an apologetic look. Bucky faced Steve once again.
"Do you know me?" Steve asked.
Bucky stared at him before answering, "You're Steve, Y/N's older brother. I read about you in a museum."
"They've set the perimeter," Sam informed.
"I know you're nervous. And you have plenty of reason to be. But you're lying," Steve said.
"I wasn't in Vienna. I don't do that anymore," Bucky remarked.
"And I believe him. Steve, he has been with me since I found him except for the funeral and I trust that he didn't do anything like that," Y/N explained.
"They're entering the building," Sam told him.
"Well, the people who think he did are coming here now. And they're not planning on taking him alive," Steve told Y/N.
"That's smart. Good strategy," Bucky commented.
"But I'm going to protect him with my life," Y/N said.
"You don't have to do that," Bucky insisted.
"I know. I want to," Y/N responded.
"They're on the roof. I'm compromised," Sam remarked.
"This doesn't have to end in a fight, Buck," Steve pointed out.
"It always ends in a fight," Bucky responded.
"Guys, please don't," Y/N pleaded.
"5 seconds," Sam said.
"You pulled us from the river. I know why you did it for Y/N, but why me?" Steve asked.
"She's your sister and without you, she's not herself," Bucky answered.
"3 seconds!" Sam alerted.
"There's more to it than that," Steve said.
"To be honest, I agree," Y/N replied.
"Breach! Breach! Breach!" Sam yelled.
Then a grenade was thrown through the window. Bucky kicked it to Steve, who covered it with his shield.
"Schieß die Tür auf!" a GSG-9 soldier commanded.

The door was then being slammed into while Bucky protected himself and Y/N with the mattress against an attack from the window. So Y/N blocked the door with a table as cops started coming in from the windows. The three of them fought off the cops as best as they could. Then Bucky was towering over Steve.
"Buck, stop! You're gonna kill someone," Steve said.
Bucky punched a hole in the floor by Steve's head and grabbed a backpack as he said, "I'm not gonna kill anyone."
"We need to get out of here," Y/N said.
Bucky tossed his backpack out of the window. Bucky and Steve got behind Steve's shield while Y/N hid behind her shield to avoid gunfire. Bucky shoved Steve and knocked a cop over. Bucky held up his metal hand and blocked bullets then they all kept fighting them off until Bucky jumped on the zip-line-guy and swung down a level. Y/N immediately started to follow him.
"Steve, I'm going to try to help Bucky," Y/N said.
"Well, hurry before they kill him," Steve remarked.
She nodded and made her way towards Bucky.
"Der Verdächtige ist ausgebrochen. Er ist am östlichen Treppenschacht! Și are un complice!" a GSG-9 solder informed.
(A/N "Suspect has broken containment! He's headed down the east stairwell! And he has an accomplice!")
Steve crushed the radio then jumped down a level after Bucky and Y/N. He followed Bucky and Y/N wearily.
"Come on, guys," he said.
Steve continued to stop the cops from getting to them as Bucky and Y/N took out more ahead of them. Bucky and Y/N continued to do this as they ran.
"Y/N, why are you coming with me? You could also be held accountable for anything I've done," Bucky pointed out.
"As long as I get to be with you, that's all that matters to me," Y/N said.
"Man, you really are stubborn," he chuckled.
"You fell in love with me. Stubbornness is something you have to put up with," she remarked with a smirk.
Then out of nowhere, a man in full-body, black armor, Black Panther, tackled Bucky. He about slashed Bucky until Y/N used her shield to block it. They used hand-to-hand combat and Bucky soon joined the fight. Then Bucky blocked another slash attack, giving Y/N the opportunity to tackle Black Panther. But as she tried to pin him, he slashed her arm, making her cringe back in pain, which allowed Black Panther to kick her off him.
Steve made it to them as Falcon swooped by.
"Sam, southwest rooftop," Steve informed.
"Who the hell's the other guy?" Sam asked.
"About to find out," Steve answered.
He then makes it to Y/N, who has a deep gash in her arm.

"Y/N, you okay?" he asked.
"My arm is bleeding from claws that were made from the same material our shields are made out of. That's not okay," she remarked.
"Then wrap it up and see if you can catch up," Steve told her, handing her ace bandage.
