Rosimar's P.O.V.

"Rosimar and Noah. Come into the hallway." Ian said sternly. Here we go. What could Shayne have said?

Noah and I walked into the hallway. Anthony gave me a reassuring smile. I smiled a bit.

"So let's start with Rosimar. Why did you do that to Shayne's girlfriend? They told me you hit her first."

"What?! Ian, I am sorry, but that is straight bullshit. She was bothering me and when I tried to step around her to finish in the kitchen, she step in front of me and slapped me. They are lying." Ian gave me a sympathetic smile.

"I swear to god that if I lose my job because of you-"

"Rosimar, don't say anything that can get you into more trouble." Ian said. I gave a death stare at Shayne who had a smirk on his face. Anthony noticed it, and shook his head.

"Sorry, Rosimar. You are going to be off work for a few days. If she slapped you, you should have come to us." Ian said with a sympathetic look.

"What?! Ian, you can't. I love working. Come on. This isn't fair. Why aren't they getting penalized?" Anthony looked at Ian with a serious face.

"Ian, I need to agree with Rosimar on this one. Shayne, shouldn't be off the hook like that."

"Sorry, but they came to us and let us know. They can't get in trouble. As of you Noah, you will be off of work for a few days as well since you punched, Shayne." Noah simply nodded his head at Ian.

"No, he was defending me because Shayne would not let me go."

"Sorry, Rosi and Noah. Start heading home." Shayne had a grin plastered on his face. Anthony walked up to Shayne.

"Shayne, you have changed. Never did I think you'd be an ass to your best friends just to defend a girlfriend who was in the wrong." Shayne shrugged and grabbed onto Lana's hand and walked away.

"You will both be out of work for five days." Ian stated with a frown. "I really wish I could have penalized him, Rosi and Noah. I just can't if you guys don't tell me what happened right after. I am sorry." I nodded at him.

"It's okay, Ian. I will see you guys in a few days." We all gave hugs to each other before Noah and I grabbed hands and walked towards the lounge.

"Guys, we have to leave, and won't be coming back for five days." Noah announced to the rest of the squad.

"Why?" Courtney asked.

"Shayne and Lana went straight to Ian and Anthony to tell them what happened, but they lied saying that I hit Lana first, and that Shayne never held onto me. Blah blah blah." I responded. They were all angry.

"I swear to you that when I see Shayne-"

"Don't do anything, Olivia. You will only get in trouble. Noah and I can take these couple of days." They nodded at us.

"Keith, make sure they don't try anything." Noah said with a chuckle.

"I'll try, but even I want to punch Shayne." We all laughed before saying our goodbyes, and leaving.

...

Noah's P.O.V.

We were on the freeway, and there was a lot of traffic.

"Noah?" Rosi said just above a whisper as she looked at her lap.

"What's up?" I asked. I placed my hand on her thigh, giving it a comforting squeeze.

"Do you think that maybe everything that is happening is my fault?" I scoffed.

"Hell no. Why would it be?" She shrugged, and placed her hand on mine that still rested on her thigh.

"Just... Like, I was the one that told Shayne about my liking towards him. After I confessed, everything fell apart. Shayne and I stopped being friends, you and I had sex... twice. You found out that I had been starving myself. Shayne lost his friendship with the rest of the squad, and Anthony. You and I got suspended from work for five days. Overall, work has just become awkward. It all happened because I confessed! If it wasn't because Ian doesn't believe Shayne's claims, you and I could have gotten fired today. Everything is my fault."

"Rosi, life works in mysterious ways. For a reason you fell for him, just like for a reason he showed his true colors. People react to things differently. I know he doesn't like that Lana bitch. He is hiding something and whatever it is has to do with you. He wants to make you jealous. Why would he bring Lana to work knowing it would hurt you? You have to think about these thing instead of blaming yourself for things that could not be avoided. You can't choose who you catch feelings for, Rosi." She nodded as the silence fell among us.

We were in comfortable silence. The window was rolled down, and the wind was blowing against Rosi's curls.

"Rosi?" She looked over at me and smiled.

"I love you very much. Never forget that."

"I love you so much more, Noah. Way much more." I chuckled and smiled. She is the best person to be friends with. Nothing would ever make me think otherwise. Life would not matter without her here.

The traffic had lessened by a lot. Cars were picking up speed. Rosi picked up the aux cord and started to play some acoustic music. The sound made me space out as I started thinking about everything. About Shayne and Rosimar. Nothing was the same. My heart was aching at everything that had crumbled at my feet.

"Noah!" When I looked to the side, a truck had slammed into the car. Everything stopped. Life seemed to go in slow motion as the car tumbled around. My vision was starting to go in and out of focus. The last thing I remember was Rosimar's eyes closing. Her complexion had small pieces of glass every where. Finally everything started to fade into black.
