A/N the song I chose for this chapter, I chose for Xander. When I listen to this song, I think of how he has revealed his feelings for Emilee so far, and this song gives a little bit of his perspective about "them" so far.

I pull my cycle into the garage and close the door once I've turned the engine off. I take off my helmet and place it on the shelf before going inside. I set my keys inside a small basket by the microwave before heading into my room to deposit my school bag. I walk in and see Sharon sitting on the bed, reading a book. "Hey." I say. She looks up. "Hey. You finally done for the day?" I nod, and look at the clock. Its now almost seven thirty. "Yeah, finally. I actually finished around six, but Blake and I went out for dinner." And it was really nice? Blake is a pretty awesome guy, I'm hoping he'll be a good friend. Her eyes widen slightly before she smiles softly, "Oh really? He's a nice guy. You guys gonna be a couple soon?" She says in a slight teasing tone.
I smile back. "No. He's really sweet, but I like him as a friend. No more." She nods and changes the subject. "How was drama? Mr. Rain is supposed to be a good teacher, but I wouldn't know because I've never taken drama here." I set my black leather purse on its hook in the closet and grab a hoodie to slip on, its cold in the room. I sit down, cross-legged on my bed. I grab a fringed pillow and run my fingers around the purple fringe as I answer, "Yea, He's pretty cool. At least so far. He said we're going to be starting this drama year off with a full scale production of Romeo and Juliet. So we had auditions today."
"Did he assign parts or anything like that?" Sharon is sitting up now, her back against the white metal bar that runs around the back of her bed. "Yea. At least a few of them. But, before we even auditioned, Mr. Rain told everyone that they needed to separate into groups of two to practice together, you know, prepare for the audition? So," She cuts in, "Lemme guess. You and Blake right?"
I chuckle and shake my head. "Nope. Not even close. He was with Bethany Street at one point..." Sharon raises an eyebrow. "Wow, I feel sorry for him. She's a bitch, to put it bluntly. But if you weren't with Blake... then who was it? No, wait let me guess." She sits and thinks. After about thirty seconds, she speaks again. "Alright tell me cause I give up." I pause, thinking about how to say this exactly so it doesn't come across that I was elated for the scenario to happen. "Alexander Ludwig." Her eyes grow really wide at this. "He's in your class??"
"Yeah..."
"Well, then you're in for a treat. Cause girl, that guy can ACT. Did he get a part?"
"Yeah. He's our Romeo." Sharon giggles at this. "No surprise there. I bet the girls were all lining up to be Juliet huh? Unless Bethany got it, which she probably did. She usually gets all the lead girl roles, though she can't act most of the time. I think its because Kurman is her uncle, so she has him rig it or something." I shake my head, "That's just wrong."
"Pretty much. But she says she's gonna be the world's next biggest actress, with Alexander on her arm and everything, so I guess she thinks she has to have the lead role at every opportunity." I smile, "Well she didn't get it this time. She is playing Juliet's mother." That lands a big grin on Sharon's lovely face as she giggles again. "That's awesome. Finally. But, who's Juliet? Or did he not assign it yet?"
"No he assigned it.........I'm going to be playing Juliet." She looks at me. And looks at me. I'm about to ask her why she is staring at me like that when Sharon giggles once more, covering her mouth with her hand as laughter pours forth. "I knew it!! I hoped you might have gotten it. This.....something could come out of this." She says playfully. "What do you mean by that?" I ask her. She grins mischieviously. "Its a LOVE story. With you and Mr. Ludwig as the leading opposite ROMANCE roles. So, you could very well fall for each other." I laugh and throw the purple pillow I had been holding at her. "Puh-leaze."
She catches it and starts to act out the specific point in the balcony scene where the characters are making out, pretending the pillow is Xander and Romeo. I laugh "Stop it. That's not gonna happen. I don't like him like that. He's just a friend, and besides. I told you how I feel about getting into a romantic relationship."
"Right. Well, you wouldn't see me pass up an opportunity for romance if I had one."
"Really? Don't tell me you like USC's very own Hollywood Heartthrob?" We start laughing in unison again before she responds, "No way, not with him. But maybe with someone else." A thought pops into my head. "Yeah, maybe I could set you up with Blake. You were both pretty animated at lunch. Besides its not like you already like him." I look up at her to see her staring at the pillow in her hands, silent. I prod her, "Sharon? You don't like him...do you?" Slowly but surely her cheeks flush bright red like a fire hydrant.
"OMG. You DO like him!!" She meets my eyes as I giggle once more. "Um, yeah." Her voice trails off. I raise an eyebrow. "And when did this come about?" She waits a few milliseconds before saying, "Last week, Friday. He was swimming at the pool while I was training and I just...I mean wow Emilee. You have no idea how freaking hot he was!! I had to spend every ounce of energy just remembering my swimming. I almost couldn't determine butterfly from breaststroke." I smile widely. "Damn girl you've got it bad." She blushes again, "I know." I get another pillow, a green one, to hold against my chest as I say, "Then we're gonna have to do something about this. I bet I can hook you two up." She looks up at me, mischievious ferocity in her eyes. "Don't you dare. I want this to happen on its own if it happens. If you do anything.... I'll make Alexander Ludwig think you've decided to go out with him." She says threateningly. Again I toss my pillow at her, hitting her legs. "Fine. We'll just let nature take its course."
"Agreed.....to both Blake and Hollywood Heartthrob." Another fit of giggles descends on the both of us.
