At midnight, Annie and Katherine agreed that they should go back to their new Common Room, so they said their goodbyes and left.
They could see a few Ravenclaw's on the corridors – they were probably celebrating their victory –, but other than that, the castle seemed pretty empty.
After saying the password, they went inside the Common Room, finding everyone there.
"You're still awake?" Annie looked around, surprised.
"Well," Pansy spoke up. "It's only midnight, and it's Friday, so we decided to wait for you, but... Where is Tony?"
"Oh, he said he would come back in a while too, but he's still with the team," Katherine explained.
"Okay, so are we going to sit here for another hour or so and do nothing?" Draco crossed his arms.
"Is the little Slytherin sleepy?" Chase turned to him with a smirk. "Maybe Kat should put you to bed."
"Guys, stop," Pansy groaned, clearly tired of them.
"Actually," Annie yawned, "I think I'll go to bed unless any of you have some Wideye Potion."
"I'll come with you," Chase said, standing up.
She nodded, then they said goodnight to the others and walked up the stairs.
"Wow, this is getting more and more exciting," Draco rolled his eyes.
"Oh, shut up," Pansy sighed.
"I'm just saying," he continued. "If this was a Slytherin party, it would actually be fun."
Katherine narrowed her eyes at him.
"You don't deserve to be wearing this," she said, snatching her scarf back from him. "Goodnight, Pansy."
With a last look at Draco, Katherine went upstairs.
"Way to go, Draco," Pansy smirked.
He scoffed, standing up from the sofa. He turned away from her, then he started walking up the stairs in silence.
Pansy sat there for a few more minutes, but just when she stood up to go to her room, Tony walked inside. She looked at the Hufflepuff with wide eyes.
"Uh... Surprise?"
Tony just gave her a confused look.
"We wanted to wait for you, but the others already went to bed, so..."
"And you stayed up for me?" A smile started growing on his lips.
"No, actually I was heading to our room when you decided to come back," she crossed her arms.
"Was I out for too long?" Tony asked, taking a few steps towards her.
"You can be out for as long as you want, Adams. I'm not your mother."
"No," he nodded, "but you'll be the mother of our future children."
"Well, I don't have much of a choice, do I?"
Tony closed the distance between them, looking down at the Slytherin with a gentle smile.
"I'm sorry, Pansy. If I have known that it bothered you, I would have come back sooner. It won't happen again."
Pansy rolled her eyes, the corners of her mouth turning upwards.
"Okay," she gave in.
Tony embraced her in a warm hug, which she returned, but after a few seconds, she pulled away.
