"what's the key to being a great parent?" jennie repeated the asked question as she's also thinking of the best answer for herself.
but lisa was ready with hers. "giving them the freedom to be whatever they want to be."
jennie's face lightened up upon her girlfriend's answer. "right, exactly and i--"
but the latter isn't done with her little speech. "whether that's a painter, a poet, a pilot, a president--"
the cat-eyed casually butted in. "...and for us, we're gonna--"
but again, the thai parent is persistent in her little speech, as always. "...of a company or of a country."
the said parent proudly smiled at the answer she came up with.
while jennie, though she loves her girlfriend like she never loved anyone in her life, lisa's adrenaline rush and her enthusiasm sometimes get into her nerves. she hates being interrupted, basically when she's trying to say a point she strongly believes in. and nobody can stop her in saying her point, perks of being a lawyer. but with lisa, she surrenders without furthermore words. so most of the time she just lets her girlfriend being her overly dramatic self for that is one thing she absent mindedly love about her.
