: the one when lisa meets a helpful stranger in the midst of a snow storm
.....
snow is beautiful.
but lisa can't see the beauty of it right now. curse her or whatever, but in this point of her life, she despises it.
god, she just hates everything right now.
who wouldn't?
when you're all trapped in a massive snow storm outside, freezing and seeing your knuckles as white as ice-- curse you and your forgetful self for not being able to bring your gloves, and bonus, you're all alone at 10:17pm.
you just wanted to curse whatever god you believe in because if it were you, you would have been home right now enjoying the taste of your mother's hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, but instead you're trying every power in what seems to be your last two brain cells in figuring out how to get out from this snow storm and just get to your dormitory.
it also ain't helping that your university is as huge as the smallest country known to mankind. how ironic that there are many people living here and yet you couldn't see anyone, not even a single person that could help you.
lisa was certain she just walked 2 kilometers already from the university library, where she spent her night juggling everything needed to fix her thesis proposal (add that up to the stress lisa's already having right now), and she is more sure that she has to walk another 4 kilometers just to reach the safe place of her dormitory. if it was a normal day, lisa would just hail a cab and nothing would be a problem anymore to the tall college junior.
"damnit, damnit, damnit." lisa grumbled under her breath as she began to feel the full weight of her backpack, which was laden by her thick books. not to mention her numbing legs tired from walking and her shivering hands, though already inside her coat's pocket, shaking nonstop.
all she wants is just to get to her dormitory and bask in the warmth and comfort that nothing this freezing outside can provide her.
she inhaled deeply and gathered herself, determined to survive her current situation.
she begins taking big steps thinking it could hurry her up and tried her best not to think about the huge snow storm enveloping her. her optimism rate is at 30% now. that could be bad, she thought.
because normally, lisa loves snow. not just when it's trying to engulf her when she least expects it.
snow was beautiful.
...
she walked silently, actually praying that she's almost to her stop. she's utterly freezing and if it's science who'll do the talking, she could pass out in the middle of the street in about a minute now.
the long, heavy breaths became sharp ones. she doesn't want to die like this. dying with a bullet straight to your head would be rather justifiable in the court of law than dying in a snow storm freezing.
patiently she takes more steps, bigger steps as she likes to think. because honestly her legs feel as jelly as that gelatin she ate for snack earlier, and she couldn't feel her legs anymore.
"hey!"
she heard out of nowhere, well that's at least what she thought. with her head ducked closely to her upper chest and in her current, unfortunate state, she thought she could be hallucinating and hearing things th--
