They got to her dad's house and when her dad pulled up into the driveway and unlocked the doors Macy tried escaping. She opened the door and started running, but her dad was faster than she was. He caught up in no time and grabbed her arm. Macy started crying. "Please, just let me go."
"You should have thought about this when you ran to your little boyfriend's house. They're gonna pay too, you know that right?"
"NO!! Don't hurt them, you can do whatever you want to me just please do not hurt them."Macy said that without thinking it through. She remembered whatever happened to her, Jem could feel. Now she regretted ever saying anything, but if she took it back it'd just make her look suspicious so she kept her mouth shut. Her dad basically dragged her inside by her arm.
He brought her into her old room, but it looked a lot different. To start the door was like an outside door. With a deadbolt and everything. The deadbolt was on the outside instead of the inside though so she figured that meant she'd be locked in.
Her room was pretty much bare. Minus a small pillow and a thin blanket. She had a carpet in her room that she could sleep on. But other than that it was bare.
Her dad pushed her in and locked the door. Now she had nothing to do. She reached into her pocket for her phone, but it wasn't there. She was so upset that she felt like crying.. but she couldn't.
She started feeling that same numb feeling that she had felt before Jeremy had helped her. She reached into her front pocket on her jeans and pulled out a blade. Yes she always carried it around. Because if she didn't have it in that time, she'd be looking for every way possible to kill herself.
