A week had gone by since Levi and I kissed and I was still humiliated. Every time I saw him I'd blush furiously and avert eye contact. It was obviously impossible to talk to him too after what happened and worse of all, I can't help but think that he hates me for it. I mean, it was an accident, but I am still the one who pulled him down, so is it my fault then?
I'm not sure how Levi feels, considering I haven't talked to him and I haven't seen his face as I dodge eye contact at all times, so of course it's be impossible for me to read him.
"Hey, (Y/N)!" Eren greets me at breakfast, taking a seat next to me.
I nod simply at him, my face instantly turning red as I remember that he was there when Levi and I kissed.
"You seem pretty down lately," he points out, taking a bite from his bread roll. "Is something wrong?"
I laugh bitterly, "I think it's pretty obvious, Eren."
"Hmm," he looks away from me, thinking for a moment. "Is it about what happened with the Corporal last week?"
"What?" I ask, pretending to be surprised. "I-I already told you, that was just a fluke, so it isn't something I am worried about at all!" My eyes wander around the mess hall to avoid Eren's and soon just end up looking at the Corporal, who is faced away from me so I don't have to worry about him catching me.
"Mmm hmm," he hums. "I would like believe you...if you weren't looking at him all the time."
My head quickly whips away as I realize I was staring at Levi. I don't have to worry about Levi catching me, but I do have to worry about Eren.
"I...I wasn't looking at him," I stutter. "Why are you always accusing me of that anyways?"
"Stop lying to me," Eren says, eyeing me up and down for a moment to see my nervous fidgeting. He suddenly looks over to the rest of our friends maling their way to out table. "Oh, look! Here comes everyone else!"
The rest of my friends join us loudly and distract me from my boy problems, which I'm thankful for. But once I do start remembering him again, I look over to his spot to find him no longer there. That's strange, since breakfast just started, but I could care less. At least I won't catch myself staring at him this way.
"(Y/N)!" A high-pitched squel screams through the mess hall as a tall maniac girl comes running through the doors. I cringe at the loud noise and look up to see the only person I'd expect to see there.
"What is it, Hanji?" I ask in an exhausted tone.
She puts her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath from running in here. When she has caught her breath she looks up to me with a huge smile.
"Levi wants you in his office," she smiles. My face instantly goes red at the mention of him. I feel it heating up more when I imagine being alone in his office with him.
"W-what did you say?" I quiver in fear.
Hanji speaks dramatically slow to make me undestand, "Levi...wants...you...in...his...office!"
"Oh! Umm...a-alright..."
"Why do you sound so scared?" Sasha turns to me as she chows down on jer bread.
"Scared? I'm not scared! What would I be scared of? Hehe~" I laugh nervously.
"You'd better hurry, (Y/N), or heichou will be mad!" Hanji says with an evil smirk. Why is she giving me that look?
"T-thanks, Hanji," I say through gritted teeth, getting up from my seat and slowly walking out of the mess hall.
"No problem, (Y/N)!" Hanji laughs nervously and runs out of the mess hall as quickly as she had arrived. I sigh at her strange behavior but push that to the back of my mind, considering she is Hanji after all.
