The Day You Told Everyone You Were Pregnant

It had now been a week since I had found out I was pregnant and still no one knows. If I wanted to, I could have kept it hidden for several more months, as I wasn't going to start showing any time soon. But, expeditions are starting soon and I obviously can't go and people would find it suspicious that I wasn't going. But, the main reason is that I don't really want to hide my pregnancy. There's really no reason to. I'm not embarrassed and I have good friends at headquarters, so hiding it wouldn't make sense. Plus I'm over the moon myself about it and assume everyone else will be too.

Of course, Hanji is the only person who knew about the pregnancy, considering she is the one who figured out I was pregnant. Obviously, knowing Hanji she would be too excited and would tell everyone about the pregnancy, but we convinced her to not tell anyone. The only catch was that she had to be there when we told people so she could scream in excitement that she knew before anyone.

Anyway, Levi and I told Erwin first so that he could be informed that I would not be participating in any upcoming expeditions until a few months after I give birth. Erwin almost convinced me to go on the expedition in a few days as my final expedition, but Levi wouldn't allow it and I wouldn't have wanted to either.

The announcement to Erwin was uneventful and boring, so we soon moved on to our friends. Well, my friends. Levi doesn't really have friends, just cadets.

Hanji decided she wanted to organize a little event to announce it, and I agreed, so she collected all my friends into the mess hall when there was close to no one else there. After we left Erwin's office, Levi and I made our way to the mess hall where we found my friends Sasha, Krista, Connie, Ymir, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa. Hanji was there as well, but not sitting at a table with the rest, just standing at the edge of the table smiling like a maniac.

"Finally! You're here!" Hanji shouts. "You seriously made me wait this long!"

"We were only in Erwin's office for a few minutes, Hanji," I tell her, as Levi and I step into the mess hall and take a seat next to our friends, who are all smiling at us in excitement.

"No, it's been a whole week!" She shouts. "Can I be the one to tell them?!"

"No, Hanji," I giggle. "Levi and I can tell them."

"Grr, fine!" She grumbles.

"Tell us what!" Krista shouts with pure excitement.

"We're all so confused!" Sasha says. "If this isn't about food then I'm going to be a little bit upset."

"Trust me, Sasha, it may have something to do with a bun!" Hanji smiles.

"Hanji!" I shout, trying to stop her from spoiling anything.

"What?" She grins like a maniac.

"Just tell us already, (Y/N)," Eren says.

"Well..." I smile. "You're all gonna be aunts and uncles!"

I hear them all gasp, as I Krista jumps up, letting out a squeal and embracing me in a hug. 

"Wait..." Ymir gives a confused look. "You're pregnant?"

I nod my head excitingly.

"Congratulations!" Krista yells.

"Yeah, (Y/N), congrats!" Sasha smiles. I think I got her to think about something other than food for once. "You really do have a bun, that makes me hungry for one." Never mind.

"Congratulations (Y/N) and Corporal," Armin smiles at us.

"Yup, and guess who knew before any of you!" Hanji shouts proudly, crossing her arms in a sort of accomplished way.
