The Ninja, the Friend and the Horse

The sounds of thunder and gunfire are heard against a black screen. A wide shot of Kuroyuri shows the empty, degraded town. A billowing cloud of dust and pieces of wood rise in the distance around the top of a tree that is barely visible above the town rooftops. You, Flynn, Jaune, Ruby, Ren and Nora all fall back by the dead cherry tree. Qrow is still unconscious and propped against it.

The Nuckelavee comes into view, twitching its various body parts. It sends out a shockwave roar that causes all four teenagers to flinch. The Grimm looks at the teenagers and turns its head to look at Qrow and begins running toward him.

You sheath your blade and make a run for Qrow. As the Nuckelavee comes closer, your brother runs up to it and kicks it in the horse head. However, one of the massive arms of the Grimm grabs him and throws the professional huntsmen towards a building, forcing the entire building to collapse on top of Flynn.

Just before the Grimm continues its charge towards you and Qrow, Ruby and Ren open fire at the Grimm, distracting it. You walk over behind a building with Qrow and set him down, propped up against the wall. You heard a loud screech, and prepared to reenter the fight. However, before you could run back out, Qrow grabbed your hand and stopped you.

Qrow: Save...her...Tai-

You sighed as you knew Qrow was hallucinating alright. Regardless you nodded at Qrow's request and took off back to the fight. The Grimm is using its arms to grab hold of both Ren, Nora and Jaune teammates, but is continually distracted by the fire of the next one.

Jaune: Guys, keep moving, go in a circle!

The team follows this plan, and Ruby gets distracted when Jaune sheaths his sword after landing a strike.

Ruby: What are you doing?

She smiles when she realizes that Jaune is using his upgraded Crocea Mors to land strikes on the beast.

The fight continues and Ren ends up pinned to a building by a Nuckelavee extended arm.

(Y/N): Ruby! Nora!

The two girls nod and move to strike the Grimm. Ruby uses Crescent Rose to launch Nora in between Ren and the Nuckelavee's would-be fatal strike with its other hand. Magnhild is pinned to the building above Ren, with Nora dangling from it.

Ruby begins bouncing around with her sniper rifle, bouncing off buildings and taking shots at the Grimm. However, as she comes around for another attack, the Nuckelavee grabbed her and threw her onto the ground.

(Y/N): RUBY!

Through the attack, both Ren and Nora were set free. Ren then charged towards the Grimm, slashing away at some of the arms and shooting towards the horses head. However, one of the Grimm arms came back and grabbed Ren's leg and threw him towards the ground, making him deplete his aura.

Just before the Nuckelavee charged down both Ren and Nora, Flynn grabbed the one of the back legs of the horse.

(Y/N): Flynn?!

Flynn: Take it out! NOW!!!

You drew your sword and threw it at the other back horse leg. You ran up to it and grabbed the hilt of your sword and began to hold the Grimm with your brother.

(Y/N): Someone! Take it out!

Ruby landed on top of the building and took aim towards the Grimm's head. However, one of the arms grabbed her and other grabbed Jaune. Then the human portion of the Grimm began to spin around like a helicopter, and basically threw Jaune and Ruby away and kicked you and Flynn off of its body.
