As the season changed, you and Ruby but your plan into place. You both left notes for your families. While on the walk down to Ruby's you encountered Jaune, Ren and Nora. The four of you began a conversation, and as Ren and Nora ran ahead, you and Jaune hanged back. You wanted to say something to him. Ruby had told you about Pyrrha, about the pain Jaune felt for it.

(Y/N): I'm sorry.

Jaune: Huh?

(Y/N): Jaune...you and I both know what I'm talking about.

Jaune: Don't apologize. You had nothing to do with it. Gure was knocked out because of that White Fang guy. Silver was busy covering you and Burly. The same person who destroyed Beacon killed her. That's who should be apologizing.

(Y/N): I know, Jaune. But-

Jaune: (Y/N). Please.

(Y/N): Right. Well...let's get going.

The two of you dropped the conversation and continued forth towards Ruby's home. After arriving at her home and visiting her mother's grave site, the five of you set out across Vale towards Mistral. Having walked for quit literally three days straight with little to no sleep, the four of you reached a small town, Galimere.

While in the town, the five of you went into a small tavern for dinner. After the meal, the waiter returned and asked the one thing you, Jaune and Ren did not want to deal with.

Waiter: So, deserts?

Ruby and Nora: YES!

Ruby: Cookies please!

Nora: Brown cake!

(Y/N): Oh, God.

Ren: How do you think I feel.

Of course, once deserts came, the girls were in love with the tastes. You had also ordered a brownie cake and ate alongside your girlfriend. As you all ate, you all shared some laughs, telling a story from your time at Beacon.

(Y/N): And-and then, Silver walks in and he just sees everything Jaune, Burly and I did. And-(Laughs) And you know what I said to him?

Ruby: (Giggles) What?

(Y/N): Jaune.

(Y/N) and Jaune: 1...2...3; Campe Diem!

All five of you laughed, enjoying the little bit of comedy you and Jaune spread within the group. The five of you finished your deserts and prepared to leave. However, before the five of you got up to leave, a group of six individuals entered the tavern. Fear was on all the faces of the other patrons as you assumed they were regulars in the tavern.

You glanced back to your friends and they all held the same expression on their faces. They wanted to see what went down. The first individual, the leader you assumed, began to talk to the bartender. After a few seconds, the leader grabbed the bartender's collar and brought him over the bar itself.

Leader: Whatca' you say, punk?

You got up and took out your rifle and aimed it at the leader's head.

(Y/N): Shut it!

Ruby also joined you as did all your other friends.

Leader: I'm sorry, what? You-you, what? Some washed up huntsmen crack-

A shotgun sound went off and the leader was sent into the bar's collections of bottles. You all turn to the entrance to see your brother, Flynn, standing there with his shotgun aimed towards the thugs.
