He thought that the clouds were sympathetic, so they tried to bring him light, making way for the sun.
A magnificent and ethereal sun, but Jason could hardly have control of his senses.
Nature was vital, but he was at his brutal.
Green grass never decomposed, where nothing is nitrified.
It was fueled by the dead.
The sky, lucid white and sunny. Making the grasses a beautiful and healthy green saturation. Dandelions and hibiscuses bloomed elsewhere, wherever the eye spots it.
He walked down the pathway, knowing which grave it was. He drifted off to a left.
It was then where he met her, still resting in peace.
The flowers he gave her, still healthy and laid in perfect structure as he stared at her headstone where it was engraved:
" Always in Remembrance
Even in the darkest days"
Laura Creed (1976- 2003)
He also never forgot the little "J" he wrote on the bottom left corner. It was hard to take his eyes off of it, until he saw someone else.
In the distance, she knelt down on the dirt, not caring if her knees got dirty. Her crystal eyes, reflecting in the sun, creating a fire in Jason's heart, like a magnifying glass.
Her flowers too, in perfect condition, staring at name on the grave.
"A Worthy Father, Always In Our Hearts"
Augustine Sinclair (1979- 2003)
Suddenly, she caught his eyes.
They paused for a moment.
Then they spoke
"This is where we started," he said exhaling. "All the pain is gone. We know each other now. And we know and understand our behaviors and concepts."
"There's one thing we didn't understand," Nina said.
"What's that?"
"Perspective," she got up and walked up to him.
He did the same, knowing exactly what he was doing.
They passed each other holding each other's fingers then heading to each others lost parent.
Jason was at Augustine's grave.
Nina was at Laura's.
He knelt down at it for a moment, imagining how Nina must've been on that rainy day, and seeing himself look at her making her grief shallow.
She did the same. Perceiving how it was like for him, to see her and how perfect the angle was. She remembered herself waving at him, in which he did to keep intimacy.
Jason inhaled a breath, staring at the stone-grave name.
Nina took a breath, staring at the stone- grave name.
"Mister Augustine Sinclair," he began. "This is me. The one your daughter has found and truted... it's an honor to talk to you. Every man has to meet the king of his kingdom. I know what I have done. You saw it yourself from above. But you also saw my greif. Thank you for recovering me from jeopardy. No other father would've helped me like that. To me, I am here to serve in honor in having her heart before anyone else did and uses it to their advantage. I'm here to break a cycle of vices that people have. A cycle so powerful, we should hide it. I'm here to do the things you had to do for her. And that's to care, love and understand. It's about the way women and men are. I'm not someone who stays out at night. I'm not someone who pushes her around. I'm not someone who ignores her and hits her abusively... I guarantee that I will not let you down and that I will break every chain of problems attached to her."
"Laura Creed. Mrs Laura Creed," Nina began, "I'm so sorry to hear about your lsot about how you died. I hope that your soul is at ease up there. I'm happy to meet you. And I'm happy to say that your son is more than extraordinary. You trained him well, even though all the havoc. That's what makes you strong. I'd like to know you better too. Someone with full love no matter how gloomy each day is. Jason isn't like those other guys. He is someone who doesn't underestimate things or falls back. I'm here to continue that type of affection you had that no one had before. I'm not someone who goes out with lies thinking it's truth. I'm not someone who disrespects their loved ones, when they don't get what they want. I'm someone who respects him and won't push him and I will never let him down, even when he lets me. Because that's how much I know him. He respects me. And whatever happens, I will stay with him cuz he's my only happiness. It was like you."
They then stood with pride around the cemetery looking at each other in worthy happiness. But what were they doing there?
In an instant, Nina screamed holding her head as if she was being invaded by another lost soul. Jason dropped, then ran. He couldn't feel her! Whatever happened he now couldn't hear himself speak! He tried to gain control of himself when suddenly, the sky got brighter and brighter.
Screaming.
Brightening to the eye. The two elements elevated until Jason met the surface.
The surface of sleep.
He woke up.
He saw Nina screaming while being dragged in her pajamas by a hand that had been trying to say "let's leave."
Nina reached and shouted for his hand.
The same shout from his dream.
Jason scattered and –still in slumber- jumped to his might, which led to a mighty fall and crying voice.
Nina was then pushed along down the stairs, trying to keep up with Danielle's grip
Jason got up.
The front door shut.
He dashed downstairs and opened the door.
The Tucson was out the driveway.
Nina was gone.
