"Hey? Are you certain about not going at my game? It's on Friday, you know. Do you have any other plans?" Jungkook asked out of the blue as he eyed Taehyung slurping deliciously.

"Excuse me? Haven't heard it, got too drawn at your kimchi." The younger smiled sheepishly as he wiped the sides of his mouth.

"Oh, it's nothing. Never mind what I said." He just smiled and leaned back.

"You won't go anyway." He whispered, which Taehyung didn't hear clearly. "Okay, something's wrong. First, you cooked for the first time for me and now you're mumbling something I can't even understand. What is it that you want?" The latter asked and scooted closer to the male.

"Ew, move back. You're too close from me," Jungkook huffed as he pushed  Taehyung's chair slightly.

"Whatever. I'll go then. Thanks for the meal, but it's a bit salty." That was all the latter said as he made his way upstairs.

"Yeah, fuck you." Jungkook rolled his eyes as he eyed Taehyung going upstairs.

"Tsk, what a brat," he whispered after Taehyung disappeared in his sight.

Taehyung was at Minhyuk's place, making an aquarium for their Science project. They took time preparing the aquarium, especially on deciding what kind of fishes they should put for extra points.

"And we're done!" Taehyung said, wiping his forehead with his already wet shirt.

"Thanks, Taehyung. I'll be the one to take this at school. Don't worry about it," Minhyuk replied as he flushed a little smile. "Okay, then. Just make sure to drive slowly. You don't want to dampen your car," Taehyung laughed.

"It's a bit late. I'll go ahead, Minhyuk. I had fun," Taehyung said as he was ready to leave. "Me, too. Take care. Good bye."

"Bye."

Taehyung exited Minhyuk's place. He took a look on his watch and it was 5 on the clock, which means that Jungkook is still at school, probably training.

He decided to go and visit him, and maybe they could go home together. Besides, he already finished their project and maybe he should check on Jungkook for some time, like what he usually do.

He hailed a cab and asked the driver to head to their school. When he arrived, he stopped by on a convenience store nearby to buy a drinking water for his boyfriend and some chips, then he went straight to the gymnasium. He could hear the sound of the ball being dribbled and shoot.

He doesn't know why, but he's grinning from ear to ear as he imagined Jungkook's reaction when he saw him being there at least just to his training. He would be surprised.

Once he got inside the gymnasium, he was surprised from what he saw. It was kinda heart-breaking. It was the exact opposite from what he thought it would be, much to his dismay.

On sight was Carol, Jungkook's ex-girlfriend, who was hugging him from his back. Jungkook was just standing there doing nothing, but holding Carol's arm that snaked around his waist.

Taehyung doesn't even know why is he hurting. It's just hurtful for him to see Jungkook's former lover hugging him like that, yet he haven't even got the chance to hug Jungkook in any form of embrace, not even once.

Without him even noticing, he backed off, but not leaving his sight from the two. He wishes that he really thought wrong. He wishes that Jungkook would swat Carol's arms away from him, but nothing happened. They stood there doing the same thing, and that's a cue for him to get the hell out.

When he turned around to run, he bumped onto someone's chest, making him fall backwards a bit.

"Oh. Hey, Taehyung. You're here." It was Namjoon.

"Oh, it's you, hyung. I was just here to umm... you know... fetch some papers up and run some errands. But I'm g-going, so I-I'll better go, hyung," Taehyung said with muffled words as he scratch his head and did a lot of hand gestures.

Namjoon found this very weird of Taehyung, much weirder from the Taehyung he already knew. He looked inside the gym and the sight of Carol hugging Jungkook from behind caught his attention. Now he understands why Taehyung acted that way.

"Oh, and hyung!" Taehyung halted his tracks and went back to Namjoon's direction.

"Kindly give this to Jungkook. I brought that for him since I knew he didn't bring much water, and there's a bag of chips also if in case he wants to eat something. You two can share if you want, I bought the mega size anyway," Taehyung mouthed as he handed the paper bag to Namjoon after explaining this and that to him.

He jogged out, but then again went back to Namjoon who still stood frozen in his spot as he switches his attention to Taehyung and to the other two figure inside.

"And tell Jungkook I'm not staying at home tonight." That was the last thing he pleased to the elder after completely disappearing.

"Damn Jungkook, you just got lucky." Namjoon whispered as he shook his head in dismay and in sarcasm.

He went to their direction and called the younger's name. Jungkook rose his head and quickly untangled Carol's arms.

"Oh, sorry. But let me borrow Jungkook for a moment," Namjoon politely said, flushing his smile to Carol, revealing his dimples.

"Sorry you got to witness that, hyung. Well, it doesn't matter. So? What is it that you want to say?" Jungkook asked and played it all cool.

"It's okay. Anyways, Taehyung asked me to give this to you," Namjoon replied and gave the paper bag to him.

"What? Taehyung?! He's here? Where is he?" Jungkook got all giddy as he searched for Taehyung around. He was secretly overwhelmed of the thought that Taehyung made time for him.

"The one you should apologize for is Taehyung, not me. He saw you and Carol." That made Jungkook taken aback, making his mouth hung agape a bit.

"Hyung, where is Taehyung?" Jungkook asked once again, disregarding what Namjoon had said.

"He's gone."

"Well, I better catch up with him." Jungkook was about to run but the elder held his shoulders and put him back in place.

"Don't bother now. He also told me that he isn't staying home for tonight."

And something inside Jungkook was like stroke by thunder.
