The sun had already set and both males were enjoying a nice bowl of Bulgogi in silence. Silence. That's not their thing. Until Taehyung decided to break it.
"By the way, I'll be at Minhyuk's place again. There's more to finish in our project than what I've thought." Taehyung opened up.
"You guys seem to hang out much often," the latter commented as he continued to eat his food.
"And when I thought of it, he's not bad at all. Yeah, he's weird. And I'm fabulously weird. So maybe that's why we fit," Taehyung retorted and shrugged his shoulders at the end of his remark.
"I'm sorry, what? You guys fit?" That statement could make Jungkook puke.
"Oh, you probably won't understand since you're so full of yourself. You're used to being the popular one, and guys like us don't fit in your circle. It's like we're out of your league," he replied, as a matter of fact that kind of hit Jungkook's ego.
"Then why are you hanging out with the hyungs? They are populars."
"Well, excuse me. My versatility is on the next level. I vibe with everyone. I can create a unique personality for a particular person." And sure Taehyung is so proud of that.
"I even made this personality specially for you. Look." And when Jungkook indeed looked up, he was greeted by Taehyung's middle finger.
"Okay, whatever. But does that mean you really can't come?" Jungkook questioned. He's hoping that Taehyung could find ways somehow.
"It appears so." As he said those words, he noticed the change of emotions in Jungkook's face. Though, he tried so hard that he wouldn't be affected by it, yet he clearly is. Taehyung is smart enough to hint that.
"At least I won't be there to annoy you." He added and lightly punched his bicep.
"Yeah, I don't care anyway." The latter deadpanned and rolled his eyes.
He does care.
"Great! Now it settled then." Taehyung cheered and put down his empty bowl on the table.
"I cooked tonight. Then you already know what that means." That was his final words before leaving Jungkook in the kitchen to proceed in the room upstairs.
When he made sure that Taehyung was completely gone, he dropped his utensil on the table with a clinking sound. He brushed his hair backwards and pulled it frustratingly after.
"Fuck this." He cursed under his breath.

It's the big day!
Jungkook was pushing himself to focus in the game despite that there's a part of his mind that is yearning for Taehyung's presence.
"Kook, you missed the shot! It was an easy one, you couldn't let Jackson rebound you," Coach Lee said as he grabbed his shoulders in place.
"Yes, Coach. I'm sorry, Coach." His coach just nodded and tapped his back.
"The rest of you, continue to work on the defense. We got this, team!"
"Yes, Coach!" Everybody on his team answered.
The sound of the whistle was heard, signalling that it's time to go back to the court and finish the last quarter of the game. They were behind by 7 points and they have 5 minutes remaining.
Meanwhile, Taehyung, on the other hand, was busy rehearsing for their report while Minhyuk was printing copies.
They have been working for the past 3 hours, and Minhyuk's glances at him weren't left unnoticeable by the latter.
