Jungkook was uncomfortable, really uncomfortable. Sure he has the bed all to himself, but it seems so plain and boring to not have someone to argue before having it.

He pushed that thought away, and just be thankful instead to not have an annoying Taehyung around to blabber this and that.

He thought back to the bibimbap he cooked for Taehyung, but sadly, the latter didn't show up. He put it in the fridge for him to eat it tomorrow. He had spent much time just to prepare it for the both of them to eat.

Jungkook pulled the thick sheets over him as he snuggled into it. He feels alone. Without the sound of the air conditioner, the silence might be very defeaning. He hates to be alone but he can't do anything about it.

The next morning he woke up, he was running late. He fastened his bath and hurriedly got his car from the garage, completely missing his breakfast. He could care less since it's already late. His class will start in 10 minutes and there is about a 7-minute drive to school, not mentioning the undying traffic that would consume his remaining time.

He overtook as he hurried to school. When he entered the campus, no sight of littering students can be seen. He cursed under his breath as he made his way to his first period class.

"Mr. Jeon, how come you came late today?" The teacher who was writing on the board asked in disbelief, knowing that Jungkook is one of the early birds in the class.

"Well.. I-I didn't have a good sleep, that's all. I'm sorry, Professor Hanks," he said, lowering his head. The teacher just nodded and said "proceed to your seat".

Eyes were glued onto him as he walks to his seat, but the male was avoiding the attention. He just walked to his seat, dropping off his bag once he had arrived to sit.

Jungkook's P.O.V.

"Okay! We all know that this Friday would be the awaited game of the year, and Mr. Jeon here is one of our top players. As one of the committees of the event, I would like to invite you and cheer for our school. The game will take part at Preston Academy," Professor Hanks announced and everybody in the class cheered.

They were turning their heads to my direction and I just forced a smile as an acknowledgement.

The excitement I felt for the game was nowhere to be found. Of course, being the one to sleep alone and not having to eat what you took time to cook could be enough for me to feel drained at everything.

"Attendance is a must, and it will be checked. Those who are present during the game will have extra points for their next activity," Professor Hanks ended with a single clap of his hands before grabbing a chalk and starting his class.

The whole class was boring. With my books on top of my desk, I laid the side of my face on it as I stare to a non-particular object as my thoughts of Taehyung began to wander.

With my half-lidded eyes that will soon fall, someone threw a crumpled paper on my face that made me shriek. I followed the direction to where it came from and it was two seats ahead across mine. What do you know, it was Park Jimin. I totally forgot we share the same classes together.

I grudgingly glared at him as I silently asked "what?!".

"I heard Taehyung didn't sleep home with you. What's the matter?" He started and that made me sigh, because I, too, is asking the same question. What really is the matter?

"I don't know. He just didn't stay home yesterday and when I called him, he said he doesn't want to see my face for the whole week and it's driving me crazy!" I whisper-yelled, careful not to be heard by Professor Hanks who was writing on the board.
