E.V.A.

Lunch with me? -Zashley

Sure :) Who can I bring? -E

Anyone as long you bring yourself -Zashley

"You wanna eat with us?" I ask Hannah.

She looks up with a smile. "Sure! Can I bring Amber? She really wants to apologize."

I look down at my bandaged arm, then back at her. "Sure, just make sure she's calmed down."

Hannah chuckles, no trace of humor present. "She is. Don't worry."

I look over at Romeo and find him already looking at me.

He waves.

I wave back.

The bell rings, signaling the end of the period.

"I'm gonna go get her. See you there," Hannah says, strutting out of the auditorium.

"Go get who?" Alex says walking up to me. "Not Amber."

I give her a shy smile. "Maybe."

"Ugh," She groans as we walk towards the cafe.

"We're meeting Zach for lunch," I say, smiling.

"Zach and Amber?! Wow it must be my lucky day!" She exclaims, frowning again.

"Oh, you love Zach," I say, pushing her shoulder.

"Unfortunately."

I'm bringing Malcolm Shh don't tell -Zashley

"I think you'll be OK," I say with a smirk as I push the cafe door open.

Zach stands beside the salad stall, waving his arms in a violent fashion.

Malcolm glares at him, clearly not amused.

I laugh and walk over, wrapping my arms around Zach. "So subtle."

"Hey, Malcolm," I say, giving him a short but sweet hug.

"Hey."

"So you're not gonna say hi to me?" Alex asks Malcolm, feigning hurt.

His eyes widen. "Sorry! Hi, Alex. How was your day?"

Alex shakes her head and pulls Malcolm in for a hug. He slowly wraps his arms around her, closing his eyes.

I look at a smiling Zach and grin. He holds his thumbs up and winks.

"Everyone tell me what they want and I'll order while you guys find a seat," Zach says, opening a red notebook.

After we give Zach our orders we find a seat. Malcolm looks content with a huge smile on his face as he stares at the table. Alex just stares into space, not seeing anything.

I want that kind of love.

I thought I had that kind of love.

Life gets hard.

People change.

People lie.

I look down at the table, feeling blue.

So blue.

Blue, what did I do to deserve you?

"Well, this looks depressing," Hannah says, plopping down next to Malcolm.

Alex snaps to attention, staring wide eyed at us, as if she forgot she was at lunch.

"Eva, I'm really sorry about last night. I-I just get so excited when I'm drunk. It's like I'm fly-"
