Belle
"Thanks for letting me actually see him." I said to my mom.
"You're welcome, Belle." She smiled warmly at me. "I need to go back up there. Got some things to do. Love you, Belle."
And with that she disappeared.
I sighed. "What to do, what to do?"
I lay down on the ground and closed my eyes and stayed like that for a moment.
I heard footsteps and my eyes instantly flew open and I was instantly up.
My eyes meet a pair of brown eyes.
"Hello there, young Wereangel. I am Maxium." The man greeted me with a smile.
Maxium, Maxium, where have I heard that before?
"I was the highest ranking Royale during the nineteen hundreds." He explained and realization hit me.
"Royale Maxium." I said, completely shocked.
"It's a shock for you, I know, but I need to show you what had really happened years ago." He smiled warmly and gestured for me to follow him.
I stayed hesitant but came with him.
We walked deeper into 'The Between' and we then entered a fog.
"Where are we?" I asked, completely blinded by the fog.
"We're visiting the past, young wereangel" He explained.
"The past? What are we going to do in the..." I trailed off as I saw Maxium laughing with another man in a fancy dinner party.
"Kruxium, my friend, I thank you for coming to my party!" The man, Kruxium exclaimed in utter joy.
"Kruxium? The ruler of all vampires?" I asked shocked.
I still couldn't believe I was talking to our most powerful Royale (A/N: 'Royales' are like their rulers.) that had lived.
"Don't you remember? He was my best friend." He smiled, remembering the past.
"So, how did you die?" I asked.
"Keep watching, young wereangel"
I watched the scene in front of me.
"It is your 567th birthday my friend, I will not miss your birthday for the world." Maxium smiled.
"Yes, but I need to talk to you in private, please?" Kruxium asked.
"Of course." He smiled and walked towards an empty room.
Once they both got inside, Kruxium locked the door.
"Is there something wrong Kruxium?" Maxium asked, concern lacing his tone.
"No, everything is perfect! But I have a new experiment!" Kruxium exclaimed in glee. "I am injecting Vampire venom into Werewolves system!"
"What?! Do you realize what you are doing?! This will kill my werewolves! Vampire Venom will burn us!" Maxium roared.
"But think of the endless possibilities! Everyone will fear us! Everyone in the mythical world! Our name will be known as the ones who did the impossible." He said and grabbed my shoulders.
"No. I don't want to be feared! I'm not helping you do this! And then what will happen after our accomplish making a hybrid? You'll get them to attack others? Fairies? Witches? Mermaids? What more do you want? You're the most powerful Vampire that's lived! I'm not helping you Kruxium. I'm not." He slammed his fist down and left the castle enraged.
Kruxium and Maxium didn't talk to each other, and the wolves and vampires could feel the tension.
But they were best friends, and they couldn't stay mad at each other long.
Finally, on a cold night, Maxium was headed to Kruxium's castle, when he just collapsed to the ground, screaming.
Then a witch walked out of the dark.
"Your kind killed my sister, and now you're gonna pay." She smiled evily.
And with that, Maxium started howling in pain and started cringing on the floor, until he just stopped.
He was as pale as a vampire, and as stiff as a board.
He had died.
"Serves you right." Said the witch then ran away.
The scene faded and stood there with my jaw ajar.
"Kruxium never killed you." I said, shocked.
"No, he never did. He found my body, and immediately stopped with the experiment, but everyone knew I was headed to his castle and assumed he had killed me." Maxium said with sorrow in his eyes.
"I also never found my mate." He smiled sadly. "That's why our friendship meant a lot to me. He was the only person I could trust completely."
"And now, a war is going to start because of a misunderstanding that happened a century ago." I said blankly
"Yes, then a few days after that, Kruxium disappeared.
Werewolves blamed Kruxium for my death. Vampires blamed me for Kruxium's disappearance."
"No offence, but that was horribly stupid of Werewolves and Vampires." I stated.
"No offence taken, now I needed to show you that and I need you to show that to the Vampires and Werewolves what I have just shown you, I never killed Kruxium, and I never said he died." He said. "When you're ready to go back up, I need you to fix this, please?" He asked me.
"Yes. I promise, I'll fix this." I promised him.
"Thank you, young wereangel." He said and he faded into thin air.
After all this, I'll be with Falco again....
I will always choose him....
