Emma never wanted a mate or a beloved, she hated the werewolves and vampires. She hated them since they showed revealed themselves. What she hates most is that his own dad is a werewolf, and so are her brothers. But not her simply because her mom is...
"I'm Xander's mate, it's going to be harder to leave. Help."
I sent Victoria the message and sighed. I've been staying with Xander for two weeks now and just a few minutes ago he gave me my phone. Apparently, he trusted me now. I've been swallowing my pride and pretended to be giving him a chance. So far he has given me more freedom and hasn't forced his mark.
It has been hell, he has been making me sleep in his in his bed with him, apparently, his wolf becomes reckless if I am not next to him. Each day he goes out to do his Alpha duties and leaves me with Elena, at first Alex would stay with me. But not anymore, which is better for Xander as he apparently needs Alex close to him.
I felt my phone buzz and pulled it out and stared at the screen.
Victoria: "Fucking mutt piece of shit. You truly are unlucky. Relax okay, just survive for a while. A friend of mine, a vampire, he is going to come to pick you up okay? Don't worry, Xander isn't going to find out. I'll make sure some of my friends rebel against those monsters making Xander have to come down for a little chat. Then, my friend he is going to pick you up, you're going to get in his back and run. You have 30 minutes max to leave."
"Okayy"
Victoria: "He's coming today."
After that, I turned off the notifications and erased the chat on my phone for fear of Xander finding out about our plan.
I laid my head back on the pillow and stared at my finger. There, shiny as always was my ring. The ring Xander had given me. Over the days I've grown to like the ring. At first, it bothered me, but not anymore. It's actually in a way gorgeous.
I heard the door opened and pulled my body up from the bed. I let out sight and pulled a smile. Xander.
"Emmie," Xander said. He looked at me with his eyes full of adoration. "I decided to stay today, be with you. Aren't you glad?"
"Yes," I nodded forcefully.
"I've prepared lunch," he said walking towards me. Once he was in front of me he pulled his hand out and helped me get up from the bed.
I gave him a small smile and looked down.
"I also picked out something for you to wear," he chuckled, I looked up at him and saw his cheeks painted with a tint color.
He turned around and jogged towards the door. He picked a bag up and jogged back. Once he was standing in front of me again he gave me a box and smiled. I took it and opened it. There inside was laying a pink skirt and a white spaghetti strap shirt.
"Wow, this is...cute," I smiled.
I looked up from the box only to see him looking down into my eyes. His hair was messy as if he had just woken up. If you were to look at him you would probably think he was a mess. His clothes were wrinkled and he was wearing all black. But then, you would look into his blue shiny eyes and you would see all the love in the world, and all that love was thrown my way.
We stared at each other without blinking. His hand rested on my cheek. I could only feel the warmth.
"Aren't you gonna change?" He interrupted the silence.
I pulled back and nodded awkwardly. I sprinted towards the bathroom locking the door behind me. My legs were shaking and my breath was uneven. I've next never felt anything alike.
I tried to compose myself and splashed some water on my face. I then proceeded to brush my hair and get into the clothes Xander had given me. I then looked at my reflection, my cheeks were wine red and looked too bright against my pale skin.
I swallowed my spit and walked outside only to find Xander sitting on the bed waiting for me.

I smiled at him and he quickly got up.
"It's amazing how each time I see you, you just seem to look even more gorgeous." He mumbled.
He laid his hand on my back and started pushing me out. We walked until we were in the garden.
There was a table with plates, and surrounding the table were a bunch of rose petals. I gasped in surprise while taking in my surrounding.
"This, this is amazing," I gasped.
"I'd give you the world," he simply stated.
I blushed and walked next to him to the table. We each sat down and as soon as we were sitting a waiter came with a tray of food. He bowed at us and placed food in front of us. Xander was given a plate of lobster while I was given a bowl of fettuccini.
We both started eating.
"Tell me something I don't know," he stated his eyes full of fascination.
"When I was little I was playing with my siblings near the pool, it was before the whole werewolf incident. My mom called for us, saying how the food was ready. We were so hungry, so we took off running. Tyler, Eric, and Alex were, of course, faster than me. Before I knew it, I tripped and fell onto the pool. Nobody noticed at first, I didn't know how to swim, I still don't. I thought I was going to die, I passed out. But my dad had pulled me out. I woke up in my house barely breathing, and since then I am afraid of water." I told him.
"How come I've known you all your life and I don't know this? Have you tried getting in the water since then?" He asked.
"No, and I don't want to."
"Maybe you will one day, I could teach you how to swim."
"Maybe..." I trailed off.
"I'll tell you something know," he stated. "You remember the day I met you? I mean, I've always known you but the day I started talking to you. You probably don't remember it was a long time ago. But I remember the day I saw you I just knew, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you."
My heart skipped a beat. I bit my bottom lip and turned to look the other way. My hands were shaking slightly.
All of my childhood I had a crush on him. It wasn't until I realized the monster he was.
The screech of Xander's chair made my me look back at him. He stood. up with a look of concern across his face.
"I'm so sorry," he said in a low voice. "Alex reached me through the mind link. There's been an emergency, I need to go. I promised I'll make it up to you. I've already contacted Elena."
He gave me a quick peck on the forehead and took off running. I stared at him until he was out of my sight.
"Emma," I heard a cold voice say.
I turned my head abruptly towards the voice and saw a man standing. A vampire. He had had long black hair and thick eyebrows, his skin looked light gray and was concerningly thin.
"I've come to save you, on behalf of Victoria."
"You can't, Emily will come any second now-" I began.
"We've already taken care of her. But you need to come with me now." He said while staring into my eyes.
Something about him screamed trouble, but as long as I've known Victoria everything with her screamed trouble. Part of me didn't want to leave, but another part of me knew that I should leave.
