This is a idea I've had for a while, the story takes place in a technologically advanced world where people where gemstones that give them certain abilities, like the drakoi people having the ability to become dragons or the merpeople to live and breath underwater. The main story is about fireclaw (center) and her struggle to unlock the power in her gemstone she wears around her neck, she soon finds out that her amulet isn't the only one that fails to give her powers, there village suffers because of this because they relied on their powers to hunt and build. She leaves her village to go find what's causing their gemstones to fail and makes friends along the way
