Ch.5 Training for GMGs

Lucy POV

Violet and I had just joined Sabertooth and Violet was reunited with her brother Rogue. We were welcomed and then came the GMGs. I was really excited because if I made it into the team, then I could get revenge on Fairytail. The Master had just come out and announced the members of team Sabertooth.

"Ok the members are... Sting Eucliffe, Rogue Cheney, Orga Nanagear, Lucy Heartfellia, Violet Cheney, and as substitute, Rufus Lore!" the Master shouted, "your training will start tomorrow!"

"What about Minerva or Yukino?" Asked Violet

"It's ok Minerva is doing another job and I need to get stronger before I can participate in the GMGs." said Yukino

"Yes! I made it! Now I can crush Fairytail!!!" I said "We can start training now so we can guarantee first place. Oh who am I kidding? We are the best! Anyways, let's partner up and let's mix up the pairings. Maybe Rogue with Violet, Sting and me, then Orga and Rufus. That sounds good?"

"Sure" Violet said I could tell she was happy to be paired up with her brother

We all split up to train at different places. Rogue and Violet went to the forest, Orga and Rufus went to some old ruins, and Sting and I went to the Mountains. We trekked up a big mountain then practiced our magic.

"Holy Dragon's Roar!" Shouted Sting as he destroyed pile of huge boulders they were reduced to dust. " Now it's my turn!" I said smiling "Celestial Dragon's Roar!" The blast from me spell destroyed a whole side of a mountain.

"Wow" was all Sting could say. He was so amazed at my new and awesome powers. I just smirked at him and we trained some more. We trained for a good 4 hours and then we trekked back down the mountain for lunch. While we were walking down the mountain, Sting asked me

"Hey Lucy why did you quit the Fairytail Guild?"

"Well, my friends betrayed me and said I was weak..." I replied

Sting looked so mad at the guild. He reminded me of Natsu a little bit.

"We will beat the guild and get revenge. I promise." Sting said smiling. His smile looked so much like Natsu's. Sting looked really cute when he smiled, but I only liked him as a friend. Natsu on the other hand... I had loved him. He swore that he would protect me and be there for me. That liar, He will pay.

--Flashback...--

I jumped out of the tall tower, I could hear Natsu running in the distance and I will not go back to my father. My father had hurt me enough and I can't believe he sent Master Jose from Phantom Lord's guild to go get me.

"Natsu!" I shouted. Then I heard footsteps pounding on the ground, I'm almost to the ground, and then I feel a strong arm wrap around my waist. We both fell but we were not hurt. Natsu had saved me and that's when I realized he would always save me no matter what.

--End of flashback--

From then on I had liked him, and then I loved him. He was always here for me until Lisanna came... I had snapped out of my thoughts when Sting started shaking my hand, and pointed to a restaurant.

"FOOD, LUCY IT'S FOOD LETS GO EAT!"

Violet POV

I was so happy to be partnered with my brother! We went to the forest to practice our Shadow Dragon Slaying Magic. Once we practiced for 3 hours, we played a quick game of tag in our shadow forms. After training, we went out for lunch. While waiting for our food, I asked Rogue about our Dragon, Skiadrum. He looked kind of sad to tell me but then I kept asking and he gave in.

"Well, Skiadrum got really sick and then he asked me to kill him." said Rogue as his bangs covered his face. I was shocked but then I understood that Rogue didn't really have a choice so I said

"It's ok I totally understand." and then I smiled Rogue looked back up at me then he smiled back at me which he used to do so often. The food then came and we chatted about our lives as we ate. We talked till the day started turning to night so we walked back to the guild. We talked about all of the funny and depressing moments of our lives.

As we were entering the guild, I was telling Rogue about the time when I was 9 I totally beat a guys who claimed to be the most powerful wizard in the guild. Rogue was laughing his head off and we walked into the guild.

Everyone was staring at us and then we stopped talking.

"What?" I asked

"How did you get him to laugh and smile so much?" asked Sting

"What do you mean? When I was with Rogue training with Skiadrum, he would always smile and laugh." I said confused

"Well" Sting started "Rogue doesn't smile that often. It's really rare to see him smile and even rarer to see him laugh."

I looked to Rogue and he explained. "When you got kidnapped, I didn't really feel like smiling anymore. I just felt like a part was missing from me so I didn't smile as much."

"Well, now I'm back so...smile!" I said

Levy POV

It has been a couple of months since Lucy had come back to Fairytail. The guild was surprised when Lucy said that she wouldn't join Fairytail but after a day, the guild was back to normal. Today, the master is going to announce the people who are going to be in the Grand Magic Games. I'm excited but without Lu-Chan, it's not the same.

"Ok you brats! I'm going to announce the people who are going to represent us in the GMGs" said the Master, "Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scralet, Wendy Marvell, and Lisanna Strauss. The substitute will be Levy Mcgarden. Now you guys have 3 months to train so go."

"W-Wait what?!" I was surprised that they chose me

"Let's go Natsu!" said Lisanna with that annoying voice of hers.

Alright! Let's get going we have no time to waist." said Erza and with that, we left the guild. I was thinking about Lucy and Violet. Violet looks so much like someone but I can't remember and Lucy has gotten much stronger. I was just really confused; I had so any questions for Lu- chan. I wish I could see her again but I have no idea what guild she joined.

"Levy! Are you coming are what?" shouted Natsu

I then noticed that I was just standing at the front of the guild while the team was walking and talking about their strategy.

"Oh yeah, I'm coming!" I said as I ran to the team.
