Mermen (minicat and bbs ships)

chapter 9

The next morning Luke woke up and got dressed into his swim trunks. He planed on going back to the lake and setting up some cameras. He got everything ready downstairs when Craig was sleeping.

Luke went to Craig's door and knocked. no answer. He slowly opened the door, not trying to wake up the sleeping male. Luke placed the note under Craig's phone, that way he knows Craig will see it. The note said

Craig, I went back to lake and I didn't want to wake you so I went on my own. I wont be gone long, dont worry about me.

Luke left and grabbed his bags. He put everything in the truck and drove off.

When Luke got to the lake he didn't see anyone, which was good. He placed his things down and opened one of his bags. The bag was filled with water proof cameras. He put one camera in the tree. He grabbed a weighted camera and a camo camera. the weighted camera had a string that can pull it back up to the top. Luke hid the camo camera in the rocks and let the other float to the bottom. He got out and tied the string to a branch.

he grabbed another camera and looked over to where the cave was. He walked towards it and dove into the water. He swam around and found the entrance. He peeked in and didn't see them. he swam in and went to the top. He looked around and saw the scaley tails on the rocks. He placed the camera in the water and went to the bottom of the cave.

He placed the camera down and it blended in. He left and went back to the shore. He placed cameras at the dock and on the shore. High in the tree and the last one was a body camera. It was small but held a lot of memory space. It to was waterproof. Luke looked at the camera and talked to it. although he looked like a crazy person, it's worth it.

" Ok, so I'm going to try and get footage of the mermen that live here. Now you may think that I'm crazy and I might be if I'm here for the third or fourth time. But I'm here because I was attacked multiple times and have been up close with them. One had a salmon color tail while the other had a blue tail. From what I can tell one of them is hostile and tends to show him self. The others is unknown. One last thing before I go into the water. They can speak. The camera is water proof and it has enhanced features for the water. It's like a go pro that is strapped to my body. Other then that let's go." Luke said as he placed the camera on his body.

There was a ringing noise and Luke clicked off his wrist watch that was sitting by the things. He jumped in and swam around. The watch told him that it was about 2 in the afternoon. He swam under the water and stopped in the middle.

The feeling of something swimming past his feet occurred and Luke pointed the camera there. The flash of a tail was seen. He swam to the top and took in a breath of air. A hand grabbed his leg as he was pulled under. He pointed the camera towards his attacker and saw the dark skinned merman.

The merman stopped and looked at Luke. He saw the camera and he went to grab it. Luke stopped him by grabbing onto his wrist. He removed his hands as he felt something slimy like.

The merman looked at Luke and pushed him down. The camera caught everything. The surface of the water slowly got further away. He looked down and kicked the merman. He was let go and he swam to the top. He gasped for air and started to swim for shore.

He swam to where the cameras can see him, he got to the shore and slowly got out. He felt two hands grab him and he looked back, both mermen were pulling him back towards the water. "Let me go!" Luke screamed as he tried to kick them away.

" Stop coming back!" The dark skinned one yelled. They pulled Luke under and held him down. Hands grabbed at Lukes neck and he was pushed under more. Luke pushed back and he felt the camera get taken away. the other merman held the camera to his face and then pointed it to Luke.

They thrashed around and Luke punched the merman. He was let go and he swam to the top. Luke looked for the camera and looked back into the water. He saw the camera was on the rocks. He went in for it and got the camera, while he was down he got the camo camera as well.

He went back and put his cameras away. He got everything and put them in the truck. He had decided to leave the other cameras and go back for them in a few days. He had cleared enough space for a day or two of recording.
