The next morning Luke groaned as he got slapped in the face. He sat up and saw Craig, giggling. Luke smiled and went after Craig. He chased his friend as they ran down the stairs. Luke caught Craig and tackled him to the ground. " Ah Luke get off me!" Craig screamed / laughed. " If you want out then push me off." Luke challenged, Craig huffed and tried to push Luke off but failed when he hadn't moved.

" Fine! I give up." Craig pouted as he got a chuckle from his friend. " Then I guess we are staying here then." Luke said as he got comfortable. " Then I guess we can't go to the lake." Luke's eyes widened as he got up and let Craig get up.

" Ok now eat an apple and let's go." Craig said as he went into the living room. Luke grabbed an apple and quickly ate it. They grabbed their bags and went out to the truck, surprisingly all the water was still in the back. Luke grabbed the hose and filled up as much as he could. when he was done he got in and drove to the lake.

When they arrived, it was still morning time. Luke grabbed the rope and pulled the camera out of the water when he grabbed it, it was covered in moss.

" do you think it caught anything?" Craig asked as he looked at the moss.
"we'll see." Luke answered as he got the camera from the dock. He put everything away and waved Craig to follow him. He did and they went to the cave. " u-um Luke.'' Craig studered as Luke sighed.

" Don't worry they should be asleep. I noticed that they only come out during the after noon. We can drag one out and put him in the truck before the other one wakes up." Craig nodded as he went along with the plan.

They got in the cave and saw the two sleeping. Luke tapped Craig and pointed down. Craig looked down and saw the camera. He smiled as he went under and got it. When he came back he saw Luke slowly drag Tyler into the water.

Craig felt bad as he helped and held Tyler's hands together. They got him in the water and he woke up. He started to fight back and saw Craig holding his hands. He fought back and he felt the water run off him. " Hold him still. I'll get the net." Luke said as he ran to the side and grabbed the net. " Let me go!" Tyler screamed as the net went around him.

" Hurry let's get him to the truck." Luke said as he picked up Tyler's tail and Craig picked up Tyler's top. Tyler screamed as he saw the truck. They put Tyler in the back and cold water surrounded Tyler. " Let me out!" Tyler screamed. There was a huge gust of wind and a screaching sound. Craig and Luke turned around and saw the other one. He was near the shore.

" Marcel!" Tyler yelled as he tried to get out. Luke growled and punched the merman. He went down and floated in the water. The two went after the other one and did the same but with difficulty. The net went around the merman and he fought against it. thrashing around, he made the net get caught around him.

His tail was stuck in the net and the net wrapped around his upper body. He was pulled out and he screamed as he knew he couldn't get out of the net. " Shit he's caught." Craig said as he tried to lossen some of the small ropes. The merman swung his tail at Craig and made him fall into the water.

" Ah!" Craig screamed as he hit the cold water. He got to the top and he got out of the water. Craig picked up his tail as they struggled to get to the truck. " ugh he's to heavy!" Craig complained as they tried to pick up the merman, there was a huff as Craig was pushed back by the tail.

" I'm not that heavy." The merman said as he tried to get Luke to let him go. Luke huffed as he picked Marcel up from the middle and put him in the water." Holy shit Luke!" Craig yelled as he witnessed his friend pick up the mermaid and place him in the water.

" You son of a bitch! Let us out!" the merman said as he held his friend in his arms. Tyler was still knocked out. " You ok Craig?" Luke asked as he helped Craig up. " Yeah I'm fine." Craig assured as he got in the truck.

" let us out!" the merman screamed again as he got closer to the edge. Luke glared at the merman and saw something that was just now catching his eye. the merman was wearing a red necklace. Luke grabbed the necklace as he looked at it better. the merman pulled away but he stopped, not wanting to break the fragile jewlery.

" where did you get this?" Luke asked as he pulled the mermaid closer.

" im not saying shit." Luke growled as he let go of the necklace, he got in the truck and started it up. they started to drive away from the lake and towards the house. " hey let us out!" the merman screamed from the small window in the back. he was ignored and Luke continued to drive to his house.
