Marcel fought against the ropes, he got dragged down further and he tried desperately to get away. There was a splash and Marcel looked up, his eyes widened as he saw Luke swimming towards him.
Marcel tried to kick his tail to get away but failed. The ropes crawled further up and now Marcels arms where held together. Luke got to Marcel and he grabbed some of the ropes and tried to break them. failed.
The ropes went higher and they where at Marcel's collar bone. The black ropes saw Luke as a threat and tried to reach out for him, he saw the ropes and moved away from Marcel. Luke ran out of air and he had to leave, Marcel was looking away from Luke. He knew his only help was leaving.
Luke swam to the top and Marcel was wrapped in ropes. The ropes dragged the merman in its grasps to the bottom of the pool. Luke swam back down to Marcel and he had plant cutters. He got to Marcel and started to cut the ropes.
The ropes pulled away and loosened around Marcel. Luke looked at Marcel and he was passed out, he continued to cut away. Once he got most of the ropes away from Marcel, he picked him up and swam to the top.
The ropes dissappered and Marcel now had black marks around his body. Luke got to the top and everyone ran to the edge of the pool.
" Take him." Luke struggled to keep Marcel above the water. The group grabbed Marcel and laid him down on the ground. His body had ink black lines all over his body and tail.
Luke got out of the water and went over to Marcel. The black lines started to move towards Marcel's tail.
"what's happening?" Brock asked. The lines made a pattern on Marcels tail. When they stopped moving, Marcel woke up. He caughed up water and he started to shake. Marcel started to cough again but this time a string of black goo came out.
Marcel stopped coughing and he took a deep breath in. Luke got closer to Marcel and placed his hand on Marcels back. Marcel pushed Luke away and moved away from the others.
He looked at his hands and they had a small pattern on them. He stopped looking at his hands and looked around for Lui, he saw Lui laying on the ground. Nogla was next to him and was trying to wake him up.
Marcel looked in the water and quickly put his hand in, making a small splash wash over Lui.
