Hermione woke up to the smell of bacon and pancakes filling the air around her. The brunette sat up on her king sized bed and stretched her long limbs and groaning in satisfaction when she heard her joints crack.
Subconsciously, Hermione looks to her left like she expected someone there. That's when she remembered that Draco Malfoy had slept next to her after the harshness of reality came crashing down on her at dinner.
Her brown eyes searched the room, inspecting for any proof of Draco's existence in her room while ignoring the crippled bed sheet next to her. She was curious to know whether she'd stayed with her or left after she was asleep. Somewhat thinking of him leaving erupted a kind of sadness inside the female's systems.
However her thoughts were interrupted when her stomach gave out a loud groan along with a small ramble in the pit of her belly. She hated being hungry. The feeling always led her to be nauseated or sick.
Hermione flung herself off her bed, taking her time to make her bed before skipping into the beautifully renovated bathroom that was connected to he room. She brushed her teeth, took a small shower and dressed in overall sweats as winter was around the corner and it was being to feel cold.
Running a hand through her hair, Hermione moved towards the kitchen, following the sweet, mouth watering smell of food and freshly brewed coffee.
As she entered the room, she wasn't surprised to see Blaise sitting next to Tessa, munching on a strip of bacon and drinking lemonade. Tessa wore a short floral dress that ended mid thigh. Blaise next to her, wore a blue shirt and black sweat pants.
When she saw the person sitting across from Tessa, her heart beat quickened and a jolt of coldness swept up her body.
Draco looked like a bad boy trying his best to act innocent but miserably failing. Draco's hair was in a messy state as usually, expect now his hair fell on his eyes. His eyes held a look of sadness and pain. He leaned against the table, his thin, grey shirt making it possible to see his strongly defined back.
He wasn't eating, but was engrossed in a conversation with Tessa and Blaise, who looked equally as pained and worried as him.
"Mate, you have to go." Blaise said, his hand reaching for another bacon.
"I know, I don't want her to be alone" Draco sighed in annoyance, his hand running through his hair making it seem more messy than it already was. Hermione was curious about what they were talking about.
Her? Was it about another girl? A twinge of jealousy rose inside the girl.
"Morning!" Hermione said, her voice coming out a little too cheery. The three adults snapped their heads to look up at her.
Hermione sat next to Draco while munching on a piece of crispy bacon. The taste of it melted inside her mouth causing her to stuff the whole thing in and reach for more.
"Morning" Tessa and Blaise replied. They shared a glance and looked at Draco, who was looking down at his plate lost in his thoughts. Hermione was a little hurt when he didn't look up at her or greeted her.
"How's the weather today?" Blaise asked, Hermione was positive they hadn't been talking about the weather before she arrived.
"It's cold, if that's what you are asking" Tessa answered with a small, flirty grin on her face. Blaise moved closer to her. His eyes on her lips.
"Is that right, Tessie" Tessa giggled when Blaise pecked her nose. Hermione wondered what she'd missed during the last few days without Tessa and her hanging out much. It look to her as though the two of them were in between a blooming relationship. Or any be they were only flirting with eachother, it didn't make sense to Hermione.
