Nabooru walked about the castle town, stealing odd bits of money and food. She walked up to a stall selling bread and took a loaf and ran as the vendor gave chase. She got caught and thrown to the pavement. Nabooru dusted herself off and walked to her house where she deposited the few rupees she had in a pot.

"One day I'll move back home to the Gerudo Fortress." She curled up on the burlap mattress and fell asleep.

Meanwhile Zelda was training down in the paddock with Malon, Saria, Darunia and Ruto.

"Sages, we are to find the spirit Sage, she is a Gerudo girl named Nabooru living in Hyrule Castle town."

"Who's coming?"

"I'm going with Zelda. It's too unsafe for everyone."

"I wanna go to protect my best friend." Malon stood up.

"Sorry, darling, it's unsafe. Maybe it's best I go alone. I have errands to run there."

"Okay, be safe!" Zelda smiled and the girls piled on her in a big hug.

"I'll be back by dusk tomorrow."

"Bye, Impa!" Impa rode on her horse, Nocta as fast as she could.

She eventually stopped in front of the castle and threw the dying Twinrova on the back of Nocte and rode to a hidden alleyway where she healed them.

"You saved us!" Kotake wept.

"We are in your debt." Koume said, sobbing.

"I need you to lend me some of your power but only when I say. My sage abilities won't be enough for what I need to do in an emergency."

"We understand."

"Thank you, this could turn the tide of war toward light."

"We shall help, as our son has cast us aside but do not ask us to kill our own blood."

"I vow that you will never have to kill your son."

"Now go, you can't be discovered." Both parties muttered at the same time and left. Impa rapped on the piece of wood that acted as a makeshift door to Nabooru's shack.

"I didn't steal nothing; he's making it up!" A distinctively Gerudo voice piped through the door

"Do you want to save the world?" Impa smiled.

"No."

"There's a million red rupees in it for you." Impa bartered.

"I'm listening." Nabooru came out.

"Get on the horse." The two sped away back to Lon Lon Ranch. Impa knew that they were being followed. But the thing that was puzzling her was what was following them. She tried to shake it but couldn't.

When they returned Nabooru was introduced to everyone and everyone went to sleep.

The following day Darunia was sparring with Nabooru. The fight could have easily gone either way but Nabooru was far too quick with her jabs that Darunia couldn't block them.

A raven flew to Impa's shoulder.

"Madam Saviour, we have received word that our son knows the location of the princess."

"What do you recommend?"

"Leaving at night, under the cover of darkness."

"Of course, goodbye."

Just as Nabooru was about to beat Darunia, he caught her fist and flipped her over.
Nabooru noticed Saria was avoiding Malon.

"Malon, what's up?" the Gerudo asked when she caught the farmgirl alone

"Nothing." Malon sighed.

"I know you and Saria are avoiding each other."

"So what?" Malon crossed her arms.

"So, I don't want you to lose a friend. Tell big sis Nabooru all about it."

"Ria and I got into a fight and neither of us will apologise."

"What happened?" Nabooru asked, intrigued as to the situation.

"She thinks I stole her blankets when we all made a blanket fort and never gave them back and I think she stole Zel's." Malon sighed, explaining the story.

"Did you and did she?" Nabooru asked, trying to offer help.

"No and I don't know." Malon said.

"If you didn't know, then maybe it's a good idea to apologise. One friendship that lasts a lifetime is worth more than being right." Nabooru replied, giving Malon a hug and smiling.

"I'll apologise." Malon beamed, skipping off.

"Impa, I don't want the rupees, spending time with the girls is worth more than that." Nabooru grinned that evening.

"I'm glad." The sheikah grinned.
