A girly giggle followed Malon's shock.

"Not dead, Mal. Just asleep." A hylian girl smiled.

"Zel! Why didn't you say anything?" Malon asked.

"Because I didn't know until it was too late." Zelda said, awkwardly.

"Not even a note written just to say goodbye?" Malon burst into tears.

"I'm sorry, it was too short notice for a decent plan." Malon's tears made Zelda cry.

"I missed you so much." Malon cried.

"Me too." Zelda brought Malon into a hug. "I meant what I said as him."

"Serious? You're not saying it to make me feel better?" Malon laughed.

"I do mean it. I love you, Malon." Zelda locked eyes with Malon.

"I love you too." Malon kissed Zelda.

"Sheik! Malon! Dinner! Zelda? This wasn't meant to happen this soon." Impa gasped.

"Sorry Impa, things happened." Zelda pulled away from Malon and both giggled "Where's Ru and Ria?"

"Dinner, where you should be." Impa smiled.

"Am I okay, coming down as me?" Zelda asked, suddenly self conscious.

"I think so, let me just draw all the curtains so no spies can see you. Get changed." Impa reassured.

"Okay!" Zelda smiled. Impa ran down.

"So. Clothes for your official re-introduction!" Malon grinned as she went to the armour chest by the window and grabbed an unworn set.

"I've made you an armour set to wear as queen. I hope it fits." Malon beamed.

"You made this, Malon?" Zelda admired her armour.

"With a bit of help from Biggoron of course, but mostly me." Malon smiled.

"It's amazing! I love it!" Zelda hugged Malon after getting changed. The two giggled as they walked downstairs, to the dining room.

"Zelda! How in the!" Ruto exclaimed

"Ruru! I missed you! Should I curtsy to the new queen of the Zora?" Zelda teased.

"Only if I get to curtsy to the queen of Hyrule." Ruto smiled.

"Certainly." Zelda went into a low curtsy as Ruto did the same.

"Come, eat, your majesty." Fi bowed.

Dinner was fun, with laughter and teasing abounding.

"Does he know I'm back?" Zelda asked.

"No." Impa grinned.

"I will dress up as Sheik again and lure them out and we'll have a battle." Zelda said solemnly.

"The Gorons will fight for the rightful queen." Darunia rose up from his seat.

"The Zora will fight for you, my queen." Ruto rose as well.

"If we can, the Deku and Kokiri will mount the horses and be your cavalry." Saria rose up.

"About half the Gerudo are loyal to you, your majesty. They will fight with you." Nabooru smiled as she rose from her seat.

"I have no kin to fight with you, princess, but you know I will always lay down my life for you." Impa rose from her seat.

"I have hundreds of Twili to fight with you, your majesty. We are all prepared to lay down our lives for the safety of the realms." Midna smiled, rising from her seat.

"I said this many years ago but I will say this again, Lon Lon Ranch is firmly on the side of the Princess." Malon rose from her seat. "And there are thousands of loyal Hylians."

"I have a question. There are meant to be seven sages and the Hero. Who's the sage of light?" Fi asked.

"The Twilight Queen, Midna." Impa said, gesturing to the newcomer.

"Next week, it goes down. Who's with me?!" Zelda yelled, raising her sword. A cheer answered her.
