My nightmare is smiling at me.

Staring at those bright blue eyes made me think of the time where I went on a vacation in the coast of Amalfi. It was one of the most memorable trip I had overseas. Tanda ko pa kung gaano kaganda ang tanawing nakikita ko habang nakadungaw sa terasa ng tinutuluyan kong hotel. It was a magnificent view! 

The sight of the blue ocean gave me that tranquil feeling that I desperately need from being away from work. It made me calm, and just at peace.

But this? This ocean of blue doesn't make me peaceful, not at all.

This one is making me hate the color of the sea.

The woman with dyed blonde hair continued to smile at me, like she was being friendly. Ang kanyang mga kamay ay nakalahad sa harapan ko and just waiting for me to shake which I eyed in disgust.

My nightmare is here and she's smiling.

Humigpit ang pagkakahawak ko kay Keith, na para bang aagawin ito. Nanghihingi ng lakas o kung ano man just to survive this situation I did not expected at all. Why is she here?

I flashed her a composed smile that is nowhere near friendly. The kind of smile that I only show to my competitors, to my freaking enemies. Yes. I recognize her as an enemy.

"I'm Wynter, Keith's girlfriend." I stated at saka inabot ang kanyang palad and firmly held it. 

Naghinang ang aming mga mata and just stared each other down for quiet a moment. After that, binitawan ko ang kanyang kamay at saka siya ulit nginitian which she also returned. Alam kong alam niya ang ipinapahiwatig ko without me opening my mouth.

"What do you want?" putol ni Keith sa pakikipag-plastikan naming dalawa. Oo, plastic, like her boobs.

Agad nitong nilubayan ang aking mata at itinuon kay Keith ang kaniyang atensyon. "Nothing. I just got here an hour ago so I decided to come here and see you," she answered while smiling so sweet it made me sick. It makes me want to smack her stupid face.

"Aww, you should have rested first! I know you're tired from the jet lag. I can clearly see it from your face," sabat ko while giving her a sympathetic look, "you really need it." 

Napangiti ako ng palihim when I saw how shocked she was after hearing what I said, kahit na ba saglit lang iyon ay nagdidiwang ng bongga ang inner Goddess ko. The shade bro, I'm throwing shade...

"Well, meeting Keith is more important than my needed rest. I mean-" she looked at him brightly while still wearing the biggest annoying smile in the universe, "we kind of had a past, it's just natural for me to check on him," she retorted.

Yes that's right! You're already history bitch, back the fvck off...

Naningkit ang aking mga mata sa gawi niya. I have only just met her but I already fvcking hate her so much. 

I clutched Keith's arm tighter, "You're absolutely right!" Sang-ayon ko dito and lovingly leaned my head in his shoulder, "I'm actually still exhausted from last night's rendezvous but the urge to see him is so strong." Sabi ko at saka sinalubong ang mga bughaw nitong mga mata.

The pool of ocean eyes widened significantly, hindi masyadong mahahalata but I saw it anyway and my mouth quirked in triumph. Ilang segundo itong di nakapagsalita and was just staring at me. Maya maya pa ay biglang tumalim ang mga mata nito.
