"Miss Wynter, Miss Delaganza is in the lobby looking for you.."

Napaangat ang paningin nya mula sa binabasa nyang files. Mula sa pintuan ng kanyang opisina nakatayo si Beth, ang kanyang ever efficient secretary.

A small frown creased her forehead as she contemplated on what she heard. But then, matagal narin namang hindi nya nakikita at nakakasama ang kaibigan nya so why not take a break?

"Send her up.."she said before tacking away all the files and documents scattered in her desk.

Narinig nya pa ang pagsara ng pintuan ng office nya, senyales na umalis na si Beth upang tawagan ang receptionist.

Not long after, the door in her office cracked open. Revealing her long time bestfriend Althea Delaganza herself.

"Wynter!!"Althea greeted. Tumakbo ito palapit sa kanya at niyakap sya nito ng mahigpit.

"Kung makayakap ka parang ilang taon tayong di nagkita ah?"nakangiting saad nya rito.

"Ikaw naman friend, syempre namiss kita no! I miss the mighty Wynter McIver, queen of the boardroom.."nakangising sagot nito bago umupo sa lounging chair na nasa kabilang dulo ng office nya.

"Aww, I'm flattered. But sorry to tell you Thea, di kita namiss.."she teased. Umupo rin sya sa tapat nito.

"Bitch.."Thea mumbled back with her usual adorable pout. She laughed at her childish remarks.

"Tell me something I don't know.."nakangisi parin nyang panunuya dito.

Althea rolled her eyes at her and beamed back. The spark in her blue eyes is remarkable. Althea is not a filipino, she's really a pure american beauty. With her blonde hair, striking blue eyes and a curvy lithe body. Mas pinili nga lang nitong manirahan sa pilipinas together with her long time FilAm boyfriend.

She, on the other hand, loved to rule her own empire. The McIver Holdings, na siya mismo ang nagtayo at nagpalago for the honor of her deceased parents. They died through a plane crash when they are spending their third wedding honeymoon. She was just 15 that time, and being an orphan on such a young age is too hard for her. She was even awarded as the most desired bachelorette in the business world.

Who wouldn't? Hindi sa pagyayabang pero isa siya sa tinaguriang Living Goddess. She exudes seductive charm that men in all types panted with want. With his guitar like figure and her innocent face, every guy goes gaga with her.
She was gifted with a model height, a blemish free alabaster skin and a thick mane of hair with the color of the night. Her eyes, which is a pair of chocolate, fringed with thick long eyelashes. Her upturned pointed nose and a pouty red lips.
Who could resist her charm?

"What's with you today? You look...different."nagtatakang tanong ko sa kanya habang pinagmamasdan siya.

I know that Althea is beautiful, but today, she is blooming. Like she was....

After reading the surprised look on my face, like she actually know what I'm talking about, she just flashed her big smile. Confirming my thoughts...

"Oh My God Thea! How long?"I blurted out excitedly.

"3 weeks..."and then she sent me a wink.
