He wanted to change, he didn't like the person he was. Laito Sakamaki has a heart that was shattered in a million pieces and he wanted someone to heal it. The Vampire had a tough childhood that's one of the main reasons why he became like this.
The reason why Laito screws around with different girls is to try to distract himself from the pain and sorrow feeling he has in his chest and to take his mind off the past, that keeps flashing in his head every now and then.
You moved in the Sakamaki mansion two weeks ago and your still getting used to the fact that their Vampires. All of them have such weird personalities. Although Shu is the oldest son he rather sleeps all day and listen to music than going out or hanging out with his own brothers.
Reiji was the total opposite from Shu, even though he's the second oldest he's strict with everyone and he doesn't really tolerate much things. Ayato is nothing but a cocky vampire whose also an asshole. Kanato is more to himself the only person he talks to is Teddy.
Subaru is the same way but except that he has major anger issues. Lastly there's Laito, the playboy vampire who sleeps with girls with every chance he gets. But you weren't stupid, you can clearly see through him. You can tell he was hurt by something.
You assumed that he only slept with girls so he can't think about what's bothering him that much. You felt pity towards the young vampire, you could only imagine the pain he's feeling and nobody is there to hear him out.
You took matters into your hands, you decided to at least talk to Laito. You strolled down the dark hall, reaching a door that belongs to the young Sakamaki. You lightly knocked on the door, just to earn a moan from the other side.
Your body stiffen at the aroused sound, you went to walk away but the door open. Laito poked his head out, his emerald eyes landing on you. Laito blinked a few times with a light blush on his cheeks "H-hey (Y/N), do you need anything?".
Your face was slightly flushed "I-I just wanted to talk to you but it seems like your busy I-I'll come back later".
"Wait! You don't have to go, just give me a sec" he went back to the room. All you heard was muffled noises and someone whining.
The door opened once more, a girl with messy hair and lipstick smeared on her lips to her cheeks. The girl gave you a dirty look before storming away, you shrugged your shoulders not caring.
Laito was half way out the door, wearing just a pair of pants leaving him shirtless. Your face heats up a bit "you can come in now" he said.
You slowly walked inside, your nose twitched at the slight smell of sex. You decided to sit on the couch instead of the bed, Laito sitting across from you.
"So Kitty-Chan, what did you want to talk about" he asked.
You cleared your throat "I just wanted to see if you were okay". Laito arched a brow, staring at you confusingly.
"I'm fine".
You shook your head in disagreement "no your not. You may think your okay but your mind and heart tells me otherwise. Your hurting Laito, something is bothering you and if you need someone to listen I'm right here".
The Vampire's eyes widen so much you thought it would pop out of its socket. A deep frown appeared on his pale lips "how did you figure me out? Your the first person to realize it meanwhile my brothers don't really care".
"It's takes a once broken person to know someone else is broken as well" you smiled sweetly.
Laito's heart skipped a beat once he saw you smiled a bright smile at him. He felt like a heavy weight had been lifted from his chest, knowing there's someone who cares and who's willing to listen.
It's been about an hour and a half that the both of you talked. The Vampire opened up to you and spoke about his childhood. You felt sorry for him, but you also felt anger towards his mother.
You got up from your seat, stood in front of Laito and wrapped your arms around him "everything is going to be okay".
Laito was shocked by the sudden action but it made his eyes burn with tears, he slither his arms around Your waist "Thank you so much kitty-Chan for listening to me".
You smiled "your welcome".

It's been a month now, you and Laito grew closer. The Sakamaki changed in a good way, he finally stopped screwing girls and settled down with the one that he was truly distant to be with, the one who healed his heart and made him a better man.
