Since that day when you were bitten by a ghoul, lately you've been having strong cravings for meat and blood. You would try to eat regular food but only for you to throw up the moment it reaches down your throat.
At times you would see your eyes flash from your normal (E/C) color orbs to a deep red with your sclera turning pitch black. You was terrified, sometimes you would blank out and once your mind is back to reality you would have blood on your hands and some smeared on your lips.
The worst part is seeing a dead corpse with hardly any flesh on the bones, and you can clearly see some of their organs missing. It's been about a week that you locked yourself in your room. Your hands were still covered in blood but it was slowly fading.
Your body was trembling, tears pouring down your face. "(Y/N)? What's wrong?" A husky masculine voice asked.
You stared up at your boyfriend whose the oldest son out of the six. You gulped down the lump that was forming in your throat, you haven't told Shu what's been going on with you for the past few days.
Shu's deep blue orbs glanced down at your hands "is that blood?".
"S-Shu I d-don't know what's going on with me" you sobbed harder. Shu crouched down, placing his cold hands on your warm ones.
A certain scent hit your nose, making your eyes flash which caused a shock expression on Shu's pale face. "What was that just now?" He asked staring at you carefully.
No matter how many time you wipe your tears they just keep coming "a couple of d-days ago when I left the cafe, I took the quickest way home but I didn't know someone was following me. When I was about to call you to let you know I'm on my home, I-I was attacked by a monster. It bit me on the shoulder".
You pulled down your shirt to show him the nasty scar you received a few days ago. Shu's face held worry and disgust "what the hell, (Y/N) don't tell me your still transitioning".
Your eyes turned that of a ghouls once that scent got stronger. You immediately stood up bolting out your room, following the smell. You stopped at your trail, you were in the forest and in a few feet away was a man with jet black hair and gray color eyes. Blood was pooling around him from the deep wound he has in his shoulder.
Your mouth watered as you eyed the crimson liquid flowing out. You stepped out of the shadows, revealing yourself to the stranger with a string of drool dripping down from the corner of your lips.
The man flinched "Who are you? W-what do you want from me?!".
A twisted smirk was plastered on your face "What I want is to rip your flesh off your bones!" You tackled him down, leaning towards his neck.
You took a sniff of his scent before opening your mouth wide and getting ready to take a bite. The man pleaded for you to not hurt him, your inner self was trying it's best to stop your ghoul side from killing the innocent man.
"Stop! Don't hurt him!" You shouted from the inside.
The ghoul growled "shut up and get out of my way! I'm hungry". You bit down hard, sinking your teeth deeply into his neck and pulled a thick piece of his flesh off, chewing on it then swallowed the thick skin, feeling It going down your esophagus.
"No!" You cried.
Your ghoul self kept chomping away until there was nothing left of the male. After a few minutes you were back to reality, tears at the brim of your eyes. You glanced down at the blood on your hands and clothes "I'm a monster".
"(Y/N) where are you?!" A familiar screamed.
You heard footsteps stomping towards your way, Shu appeared from the bushes while panting heavily. Your boyfriend's ocean blue orbs stared at you then the dead body next. "I did it again and I tried...I tried to stop it, I'm a monster".
Shu frowned and pulled you in for a tight hug "(Y/N), your not a monster. This isn't your fault that you've turned into something that you didn't ask to be".
You cried into his chest, tightening your grip on his shirt "I'm scared shu, I don't know what I'm going to do with this side of me. I don't want to kill no more innocent people".
"You won't and I promise I'll try my best to help you control your bloodlust" he said softly.
You gave him a weak smile "Thank you".
• Quick Ending
It's been a couple of days and you've been learning how to control your bloodlust, all thanks to this old man name Yoshimura that owns a cafe called Anteiku. One of the waitresses named Touka gave you the ingredients to make the tea and it helped you a lot.
You would go to them and learn more about using your rinkaku, which you didn't know that you have. Shu was happy to see you smile and laugh instead of being stuck in your room all day.
Now You feel more comfortable walking around without worrying about killing people.
